Guest of this issue: The girl who travels alone is very quiet.

Hello, Miss Ning, nice to meet you in Let's Go on a Date. Let's Go is a platform dedicated to go on road trip with millions of fans. Please introduce yourself to the fans first.

I am from Fujian, now living in Shanghai, engaged in tourism from the media industry, travel bloggers. In fact, as early as 20 13, I participated in the national sea election and became a tourist experiencer who traveled to the Northeast for free. At that time, the concept of travel experiencer had not yet arisen in China.

I travel alone most of the time. Traveling alone for nearly 8 years, one day I named myself a girl who traveled alone. I like to travel deeply to a place. I once backpacked around Japan, Thailand, the Philippines, Malaysia, Portugal, Spain, Indonesia, and South Korea, and traveled all over China 100 cities by myself, covering almost all provinces, municipalities and special administrative regions in China. It can be said that I travel most of the time.

Q2: When did you fall in love with traveling? Why did you quit your job and travel around the world? Can you tell me something about your travel experience and mental journey?

I have been boarding since junior high school and have been outside. I worked as a tutor in college and saved 500 yuan, so I traveled to Guilin and Yangshuo with two girlfriends for a week. At that time, the three of us slept in the same bed and traveled the Lijiang River on foot in Yangshuo. It was an era when film cameras were used, which exposed our age, haha. When I was a student, I was poor but happy. Traveling has made me see different lifestyles and different landscapes. At that time, I thought everything was novel. I think that's when I fell in love with traveling.

Work in Xiamen after graduating from college. Every weekend, I go to the suburbs with some outdoor organizations. I traveled with them to almost all the routes around Xiamen. I have played around Xiamen, and sometimes I will go online to search my own raiders and visit some nearby scenic spots that have not been fully developed or have few tourists. I went to many places and began to be dissatisfied again. I want to visit more provinces, so I slowly saved money and started a long-distance trip on the Great Ring Road.

The first long-distance trip, still poor, hard seat, sleeper. From Xiamen to Nanjing, then to Beijing, Xi, Wuhan and finally back to Xiamen. During this trip, I went to many places I wanted to go. Although due to some circumstances at that time, my original destination was Gansu, but I was finally changed to Wuhan, but my whole journey was very happy and my spirit was greatly satisfied, which further sprouted my desire to see the world.

Since then, I have been out of control. From Fujian province to domestic scenic spots, there are many domestic tours, and I want to go abroad to play. Over the years, I have been backpacking alone. From Fujian-China-Southeast Asia-Japan-Europe, my footsteps almost never stop. I am a person with a strong exploration heart.

Q3: Look at your screen name "Quiet girl who travels alone", and you can probably know your main travel modes. Do you usually travel alone? What do you think are the advantages and disadvantages of traveling alone?

I usually travel alone. A big reason is that every time I travel, the time is very long, mostly between seven days and one month, so it is difficult to compare with others. Of course, I am now engaged in tourism since the media, and I will also travel with you. The advantage of traveling alone, I think, is that you can do whatever you want on the road, and you don't need to catch up with scenic spots. I can stop whenever I want, and I can leave whenever I want. There is no bondage and no freedom. I like to walk in a strange city and feel a city quietly.

Travel is not good, and occasionally I feel lonely. Besides, no one can take a good picture for you. There is also the need to make your own decisions. But get used to it.

Q4: Young women traveling alone have more uncertainties and greater risks. What do you think a girl should pay attention to when traveling alone?

I once shared some things that girls who travel alone need to pay attention to:

Travel, don't go out at night, and try not to come back late. I seldom go out after ten o'clock in the evening when traveling.

Don't climb the mountain alone, which is also the result of experience.

Try not to have conflicts with others, and don't look at the conflicts you encounter.

Don't be greedy and cheap.

Go to the regular ticket office and take the bus.

Go to different countries or regions, respect local customs and habits, try not to show off your wealth, and get to know some local habits.

Girls travel alone, dress simply, and try not to wear heavy makeup.

Try to choose conventional lines and less challenge undeveloped lines.

The most important thing for a girl to travel alone is to bring enough money! Even if you are a poor traveler, it will cost a lot of money.

Question 5: As a young woman, you travel alone most of the time. Have you ever met anything thrilling or even dangerous? How do you protect yourself?

It is mentioned above not to climb the mountain alone. I didn't know that little land before. On a rainy day, I climbed a mountain alone, slipped on the mountain, passed by the graveyard, and there was no signal. I'm lost and I can't find the exit. Suddenly a little flustered, feeling too bold and thinking too little about safety. Because I heard from the innkeeper that many people had taken the route before leaving, I didn't consider anything at that time and went alone. Later, after I went down the mountain, the local people reminded me that there were many homeless people in the rainy Tianshan Mountains. It's not safe to think about it now. This is my first and last time to go to the wild mountain, and I won't go there again.

Another time in Malaysia, I went to sea with a one-day tour group. It turned out that the weather was very strange. Half of the visible dark clouds were covered with heavy rain, and the other half did not rain. It was dark, and the ship stopped at sea because it was out of oil! But the guide didn't tell us. There are piranhas in Na Pianhai. At that time, the signal was so weak that the distress call could not be made. It took half an hour to get on the phone and ask rescuers to deliver oil. At that time, nearly 10 people on our ship just drifted at sea and dared not move. After landing safely, the boss bowed to each of us and apologized. I took a deep breath.

But I have traveled for so many years, but fortunately I didn't feel any special danger. Maybe I am lucky, I met many good people along the way! In addition, young women must pay attention not to take a black car, which has many problems. Wherever I go, I take public transport. There is more traffic. A few years ago, I met a driver on a trip. Seeing the navigation makes me feel that the destination is a bit remote. On the way, I felt that the driver had said something wrong, so I asked the driver to let me off on the road with many traffic jams and ran to the road with many people. This is also a way to protect yourself.

Another time, I accidentally had an accident while riding a bike abroad. When dealing with the wound in the hospital, the doctor communicated with me smoothly. I think if you want to go abroad to play, you still need to pass the language barrier. I'm covered with five wounds. But it's just a scratch, not a bone. It's no big deal to me. Am I too strong?

Perhaps the most thrilling one was the 6.9-magnitude earthquake I encountered in Hokkaido, Japan last year. I sleep alone in the hotel. When the rumbling earthquake came, I was awakened. How can I put it? I felt that I didn't even have the ability to think. Fortunately, it was just a near miss, but the tense state at that time made me feel particularly tired afterwards.

Another way to protect yourself is when traveling abroad, if you meet like-minded friends, you can go together for a period of time. Of course, it's up to you to judge.

Q6: Many people can't understand why some people love traveling so much. It's good to stay at home. There are air-conditioned watermelons with Wifi in summer and quilts with Wifi hot pot in winter. How comfortable this life is. What do you think is the difference between people who travel and those who don't? What is the meaning of traveling?

I think this is a different attitude and lifestyle. Some people are naturally adventurous. Everyone will go through different stages. Maybe I'm still at this stage where I like traveling very much, or maybe at a certain age, I'll like the comfortable days when I don't wander around.

The meaning of travel? Everyone has a different understanding. I think people need to escape, and sometimes they can think better if they leave the existing comfort zone. Travel and not travel, but the focus of life is different. Sometimes you will see more people's lifestyles and habits, including beliefs. You will find that the world is so different, and colorful is the most beautiful color.

Actually, I can understand you. Some people have wind in their bones and are doomed to drift. Travel is just needed. What changes have year-round travel brought to you?

Speaking of change, I should say that although I am not materially rich, I will be more grateful for my existing life. At least when you encounter something, you seldom complain, and you will understand some behaviors and things of others better. There is a saying that your temperament hides the road you have traveled. I think this sentence is quite right. Travel, you will see a more diversified life. It is very important to try to improve your vision of the world, people and things. There is also a saying: the heart is wide, the world is big, and things are small.

Q8: I envy you very much. It's really wonderful to see different worlds. Can you tell me something interesting that you met during your trip?

Once I went to a scenic spot to climb a mountain, and it rained halfway. I went up the mountain alone, and when I went down, I became a group of people. In the process of climbing mountains, I met people from all corners of the country. During the trip, everyone became friends, and then we went together. After going down the mountain, we lived together for two days and played together. This is a very happy thing.

Another time, when I was in Xinjiang, I met a group of friends who were visiting. Everyone had an authentic yak hot pot and watched the sunset together. This feeling is both beautiful and happy.

I am also very happy to go to the local second-hand market with foreigners I know abroad.

Q9: Many people think that traveling is just a matter of spending money to buy guilt. It costs a lot. You're not a rich second generation. Where does the travel expenses come from?

I went to all the places I went, and every penny I spent was saved by my own work. I come from the countryside and have been self-sufficient since college. I have been working very hard. In order to realize my desire to travel to more places, I once did four jobs by myself and had little time to rest. Strangely, I was also very energetic.

When I used to work in Xiamen, I went with an outdoor tour group for one day, and the cost was not big, only one or two hundred yuan a day. Save some money after work and use it to play around the country. Later, I started my own business for several years and worked day and night. After the start-up improved, I also had the funds and time to travel abroad. Life is always something to give up. I am willing to spend money on the way to travel, and I will always pay attention to some special fares and peak trips.

Q 10: In fact, you are still a homestay experiencer. Can you tell us something about this new career? This profession is very different from hotel sleeper.

I only became a homestay experiencer in recent years. For more than ten years, travel has been fully integrated into my life, which is the normal state of my life, and accommodation is part of the journey. Some travel platforms naturally rated me as a hotel sleeper, but I have never applied for a sleeper exam. I don't think there is much difference between a homestay experiencer and a hotel sleeper.

I have experienced many international and domestic hotels and many high-end homestays with feelings. I think the experiencer shows his feelings and experiences more, and more often uses his own eyes to explore the beauty of the hotel or homestay. Of course, in this process, we will also choose the recommendation that suits our taste. Not all hotels will recommend it, saying that it is generally good. This is the basic attitude of an experiencer.

Q 1 1: Thank you very much for your quiet interview with Let's Go on a Date. Most fans on the Internet love travel and life. Most people understand the happiness that travel brings you, and hope that your journey will be more exciting and happy. Finally, please say a few words to them

Stick to what you love! Be yourself! Live with gratitude, positive and peaceful attitude, and don't complain. Love what you love. You will find that life is short and all the efforts are worth it. In life, you should always explain yourself.
