But ...:
Leigonggen is a kind of Umbelliferae herb, which likes to inhabit soft and humid grasslands, mainly distributed in tropical and subtropical regions, such as India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Madagascar and South Africa. In Sri Lanka, Leigonggen means longevity. Roots and leaves are its available parts.
Roots have been used in Asia for centuries. It is considered to promote cognition and is used to treat many skin diseases, from intractable wounds to leprosy. Some people also use Leigonggen to treat hypertension, rheumatism, fever and neurological disorders. In traditional Indian herbalism (Fei Da medicine), Leigonggen is used as an external ointment to treat heart disease, water retention, hoarseness of throat, bronchitis, children's cough and skin problems. Some studies have also found that Leigonggen can strengthen blood vessels and promote blood circulation.
