This week, the research on "Astongga" was concluded. Compared with Hata's intense and high-density learning rhythm, A Tang's courses are more relaxed. Every morning at 9: 00, a Mysore (self-exercise) and an application exercise (returning to work) are the contents of the morning. In the afternoon, I will learn five poses in a row, and the day's study will be over.
Perhaps because of his foundation, A Tang didn't find his study particularly difficult. I didn't feel too much pressure except for the initial changes in thinking and the recitation of Sanskrit content. Although I can't do many postures for the time being, I know in my heart that everything will change with the deepening of practice.
During these two weeks of study, both body and mind have a tendency to relax. On the one hand, it may be because the pace of the course is relatively relaxed, on the other hand, there are reasons for the gradual decline of will. Since I started to learn from Tom, I got up late every day, so I delayed getting up until 6: 30, and the original morning exercises were merged into the morning Mysore class. Although I keep practicing for nearly two hours after returning to work every day, the effect is different from that brought by spontaneous diligence.
Second, the result
Hata in August laid a good foundation for the study of Bazhitang. Although they practice in different concepts, they maintain basically the same posture correction and internal orientation. The biggest gain of this study is that you have a clearer understanding of the methods and directions of self-practice, which will not be as vague and abstract as when you practice hata, and will make you more sure while improving your efficiency in future exercises.
On the other hand, the understanding of yoga has been further improved. It is mainly to understand that in the process of yoga practice, we should consciously realize the current situation of the body and choose targeted poses to improve according to the physical condition. Instead of one-sided emphasis on the depth of the pose, ignoring the true cognition of one's physical condition.
Third, the problem.
In the study of yoga, the biggest problem is always how to keep practicing continuously. After September's efforts, 10 months of practice gradually eased down, which is often a prelude to relaxation and negativity. How to find a suitable balance between tension and relaxation is the next problem to be faced.
Another obvious problem is the lack of freshness. With the increase of understanding and the extension of contact time, the initial sacredness and curiosity about yoga gradually faded. In this case, how to further find the motivation is also a problem that needs to be solved.
Fourth, adjustment.
Starting from next week, the daily practice rhythm should be restored, and the relaxation state during this period should be changed, at least in terms of work and rest and time management, it should return to the level of September.
Relaxation of consciousness is the beginning of retrogression. Besides asana exercises, we should also pay attention to the adjustment of thought and spirit. I've watched too many movies in the past half month, so I need to be moderate from next week, and correspondingly increase the theoretical study related to practice.
