What is Yang?
Yang is the sun on the human body and the god on the human body. The power of life in nature comes from the sun, and the healthy growth of natural vegetation needs the light of the sun and the rain and dew of God.
As far as the human body is concerned, Yang Can gives people warm sunshine, provides the motive force of life and plays a role in protecting the human body.
The four seasons can't be born, can't be quiet, the yang is insufficient, not obvious, or get sick and die where the yang is not there.
This is what I saw the last time I read "The Theory of Rushing to the Crown with Anger".
At the beginning of today, Neijing summarized it for us again, emphasizing once why Yang is so important.
Because it can be said that "essence can nourish the heart and softness can nourish the tendons", this is an inverted sentence, and the important things should be said in advance.
Translated, the first half of the sentence says that it is this young man who nourishes the spirit and makes people refined, that is, the spirit of the government is bright. Because the zang-fu organs store essence, "the spirit of politics is bright and resides in the four dirty organs", dirty organs can store essence, and the external essence energy is concentrated in the body. People have essence and naturally have gods.
This is also the spirit we talk about every day. On the other hand, you can't hide the essence, and naturally there is no god. What is God? This is brilliant. This man looks radiant, self-luminous, and sparkling. We say this is God.
What about the second half? Softness nourishes muscles. Actually, I'm talking about this yang nourishing tendon, which can be soft. The last sentence is about abstract spiritual things. So this sentence is about the material things on the human body. This is what we usually call strong bones and soft bones.
What does this softness mean? Kneading is kneading, soft and powerful. Like a bow. If the bow is hard, it is impossible to shoot this arrow.
A person's body is only soft, and this softness is powerful. We say that this person is healthy, that is, healthy and healthy. What do we usually mean by health? Health is soft and powerful, but "health" is relatively unobstructed, which is the so-called avenue.
In the above Neijing, he used another sentence to summarize why Yang is so important. Because of this yang, you can nourish your heart and keep fit. Therefore, both physical health and mental health are inseparable from this yang.
What would happen without Yang?
Then he used some examples to illustrate, telling us what would happen if the human body had no yang?
People's skin pores will open and close rhythmically with the change of time, which is related to the rotation of day and night and seasons, and is controlled by Yang Qi and Stephy. If the opening and closing are not normal, cold air will enter the human body and cause diseases.
If the cold enters the spinal cord of Du meridian, it will cause the disease of "big rolls for grain". Rickets is diseases such as rickets, and the spine bends badly, such as some patients with ankylosing spondylitis now.
If the cold is trapped in the meridians, it will cause fistula disease. How does this disease manifest itself? Said Wen Jiezi said: (Fistula) The neck is swollen. Even neck swelling and even long-term ulcers and pus are some diseases. And the cold will stay in the skin and will not heal for a long time.
If it develops further, it will lead to the deficiency of Qi and blood in the meridians of Shu point, which will cause psychological diseases that are often worried and frightened. In fact, this is the result of deficiency of kidney qi caused by a long cold and illness. The kidney is in fear, and people with insufficient kidney qi are often shrouded in fear. All day, they don't worry about this, they worry about that, even a little thing will scare them to death.
If the Ying-Wei is unbalanced, the Wei-Qi is insufficient, and the cold is blocked, the Ying-Qi cannot be dredged, that is, the blood circulation is not smooth, and the local heat is depressed, resulting in local carbuncle swelling.
If the body can't sweat through and stay in the skin for a long time, it will lead to fever and aversion to cold, which will recur all the year round.
For example, this truth can be summarized in one sentence, that is, the deficiency of yang leads to the invasion of exogenous pathogens such as cold pathogens into the human body, causing chronic diseases such as meridian obstruction and lingering pathogens, or chronic diseases such as bones or skin, cold fistula or heat syndrome, and the long-term existence of pathogens leads to good health and emaciation.
To sum up, wind is the beginning of all diseases. In other words, most diseases started from this wind.
This trend of Chinese medicine is an indescribable thing. The wind in nature is also called wind, or qi. In Neijing, evil spirits are also called virtual evil and thief wind.
Wind is also a kind of gas, which is invisible and inevitable. For example, the ancients could not see the cold, virus or bacteria, but they knew it was evil, so they called it thief wind. I couldn't see it, so I called it a thief and sneaked in. Treatise on Febrile Diseases calls some of these diseases heatstroke.
Modern medicine says that stroke hemiplegia such as cerebral hemorrhage and cerebral infarction is also called wind, epilepsy is also called epilepsy, and convulsion is also called wind. This disease in which the body twitches at the onset is also called wind. There are also some skin diseases, such as rubella, vitiligo and leprosy.
These winds make people sick, but what? The premise is that you are qi-deficient. When the human body is full of yang and defensive qi, the skin can be closed, so these exogenous evils cannot enter the human body. Even if there is "strong wind and heavy poison", these very severe diseases can't hurt the human body. That is, the concept of disease in traditional Chinese medicine, also known as healthy qi and internal evil.
How can we achieve such a state of disease prevention? Here are two key words: neatness and timely order.
Purity can protect qi and consolidate the foundation, and avoid four seasons and six evils at four seasons.
Huangdi Neijing will also use many words and articles to tell us this concept, which is the concept of disease in traditional Chinese medicine.
Huangdi was afraid that you wouldn't use this metaphor. At the end of this article, he gave us an example to teach us how to use it:
What about this Yang? Within a day. In the morning, with people's activities, the spirit of the sun began to grow, and at noon, it was the most prosperous. When the sun goes down, the spirit of the sun begins to weaken, and the pores of the skin, that is, the skin begins to close.
So, after the afternoon, the sun be the spirit is collected in it. Don't exercise at this time and disturb your bones and muscles. It's best not to go out and get infected by dew. If you violate this rule, you will get sick easily.
You see, this is called chronological order. In the second article, he talked about the law of four o'clock and told us what to do so as not to get sick. At the same time, he emphasized to us that there are four seasons in a day. I'll tell you what to do.
I finished an example application and finally summarized it.
This shade cloth is hidden inside and supplies the motive force. Yang protects the human body, both externally and externally.
If there is more yin and less yang, the blood will rush outward and people will go crazy.
On the other hand, if there is less yang and more yin, and Yang Can can't disperse outside, the sun be the spirit will be trapped inside and rampage. Nine strokes must be blocked.
So ... Saints must depend on this yin and yang. In this way, the meridians (liver and heart) are unobstructed, the bone marrow is firm (the kidney is good), the qi and blood are relatively unobstructed, and the inside and outside are harmonious. Evil spirits naturally cannot harm the human body. Even when you are old, you can keep your ears bright and your body looks young.
In fact, this is a summary of Yang Er's notes on Huangdi Neijing, and I want to share it with you: The essence of this article is as follows.
Physiological Function and Pathology of Yang Qi
