Shanghai International Ballet Competition was founded in 1995, and resumed to be held every two years from the fifth session in 20 16.

On August 3rd-1 1, the 6th Shanghai International Ballet Competition will be held in Shanghai International Dance Center. 99 contestants from 16 countries will be divided into two groups: juvenile group (15- 18 years old) and adult group (19-26 years old), and will compete in the rematch, semi-finals and finals with their own solo or duet and modern dance works.
