2. Brittle feeding
Crispy pomfret is fed with grass carp. Grass carp was bred completely according to the feeding method in the early stage. After feeding for about a year and a half, the grass carp grew to about 5 kg and began to embrittle. Crispy farmers change their feed, mainly feeding pure natural northeast broad beans.
Broad beans do not need to be crushed, and the whole material is soaked in clear water for more than one day and night to make them soft and swollen, which is convenient for grass carp to eat and digest. After grass carp ate broad beans, the cell density increased and the cell wall thickened. The collagen content in muscle is dozens of times higher than that in common grass carp, so it will become brittle. Generally, grass carp will become brittle after feeding for 4 months.
3. Change the water regularly
Crispy pomfret also requires high water quality, not only fresh water quality and sufficient dissolved oxygen, but also the dissolved oxygen in the culture pond should not be less than 5 mg per liter.
Therefore, fresh water and cold water should be replaced regularly during the breeding process, and every five days when the temperature is low in spring and winter. If the temperature is high in summer, oxygen in the water volatilizes quickly and bacteria grow fast, it must be replaced every two to three days. It is best to use reservoirs, streams or rivers with excellent water quality, but the water quality must be fresh and pollution-free.
Step 4: body shaping with running water
In order to make crispy meat more crisp, it needs to be transported, and running water is often introduced to allow fish to swim, jump and surf in the flowing pool, so as to reduce fat accumulation and increase muscle toughness.
Therefore, when embrittlement is fed, it is necessary to ensure not only that there are enough broad beans, but also that they have enough exercise space and a lot of exercise to make the meat brittle, and the water temperature in the pool should not be higher than 25 degrees, and the fish will not become brittle if the temperature is too high.
