First, open the iPad and enter "Mail, Address Book, Calendar" in "Settings";
Click "Add Account" to open the following interface, then click "Others" and then click "Add Email Account";
After entering, you can see the setting interface, as shown in the figure below. I will give you an example of how to set up a corporate mailbox here:
Name: fill in at will; Address: write a complete email address; Password: fill in the password of the email account; Note: the project is automatically generated and can be modified by itself. The content filled in the description item is the name displayed in the email account. After completing the form, click "Next" in the upper right corner;
Wait a moment, and the setting information of "Receiving Server" and "Sending Server" will appear below the account information on the screen. Select the "pop-up" tab, as shown in the figure below;
Receiving server: host name: mail.dns.com.cn user name: (full email account address) password: email password.
Sending Server: Host Name: mail.dns.com.cn User Name: No password required: No password required, and then click Save.
Click "Save" after filling in, wait a moment, and the prompt of SSL connection will pop up on the screen, and click "No";
Return to the setting page, click Save, and a dialog box will pop up to confirm saving, and select Save;
Go back to the "Mail, Address Book, Calendar" option, select the newly added mail "Account" and modify the outgoing mail server port;
Select the outgoing mail server, enter "SMTP" and click "Main Server";
Use the default "server port 587", turn off "Use SSL" at the same time, and click "Finish" at the top right;
Similarly, under the Advanced option, change the receiving server port to: 1 10, and turn off "Use SSL". Under normal circumstances, the iPad will successfully connect directly to your corporate email;
After setting, return to the main menu and click "Mail" to send and receive emails.
