The directory saved by foxmail is taking up more and more space. What should I do? I don't want to delete the mail. I'd better transfer the mail to another disk together. What should I do?
I have encountered this problem. I'll teach you the easiest way. I just did the experiment successfully this morning. Cleaned up the mailbox and reduced it by 90%.

The first step of the method:

Open a new account test in your FOXMAIL, then correspond your current mail, inbox and sent mail one by one, transfer the letters inside to the new mailbox (delete some useless letters with large attachments before transfer), then delete all the junk letters in the old mailbox, and then select "Account-Delete" to delete the old mailbox account. Don't think that the work is finished, it's still early!

Method step 2:

Then enter your FOXMAIL installation directory, and there is a subdirectory-mail. Look, there is a small directory with the same name as your mailbox. Your mailbox has been deleted, but this directory is still there, and it is still very large. Just forget it. Delete this directory directly, empty the recycle bin and bid farewell to the future!

The third step of the method:

In your FOXMAIL, create a new account, which you have deleted. Create it again. There are no letters in it, are there? Those letters you forwarded in the test account, one by one, come back, OK! You go into your installation directory -mail to see if your restored mailbox takes up a small area.

You can check all your accounts in FOXMAIL according to my method. Then look at your installation directory Foxmail. How much is left? After slimming down, you can generally cut off at least 70 or so.

Step 4:

Pack your entire FOXMAIL directory with compression software, so that you can shrink it in half. Save this file to a USB flash drive or burn it to a CD-ROM. It's small anyway!
