Can fresh hawthorn be frozen?

Refrigeration is recommended.

The correct way is to seal it with a safety bag. It is best to squeeze out all the air inside and then put it in the freezer of the refrigerator for preservation without losing its nutritional value.

The suitable storage temperature is 0℃, and the packaged product can be 0-3℃. The suitable storage humidity is 85-90%. Usually stored for about a month.

How to keep hawthorn fresh for a long time

1, intact and fresh hawthorn kept fresh.

Wash the hawthorn, put a layer of fine sand in the jar, then put the hawthorn in, put a layer of fine sand on it … cover the jar.

If you have plastic wrap at home, you can seal the hawthorn with plastic wrap, try to clean the air inside, and then put it in for preservation.

2. Cold storage method

Fresh hawthorn can be sealed with plastic bags, the air inside can be removed, and then stored in the freezer.

3, cut into dry preservation.

If you don't mind destroying the moisture in the hawthorn, you can cut the hawthorn into pieces and put it in the sun, so that the sunlight can evaporate the moisture in the hawthorn, which is beneficial to preservation.

4. Make hawthorn sauce and save it.

If it really doesn't work, you can wash the hawthorn and cut it into small pieces, then beat it into paste with a beater and seal it in a glass bottle.

1, preparation before storage

(1) Harvest standard: the fruit turns deep red with obvious fruit points. It is usually harvested from late September to late June 10. Cut off the fruit handle with scissors as much as possible. The harvested fruits were placed under the arbor for 2 ~ 3 days to dissipate the heat in the field. Then the bottom of the basket is padded with cattails, and qualified Shan Ye plants are put into baskets (or boxes), each basket is filled with 25-30kg, and sealed.

(2) The suitable storage temperature is 0℃, and the packaging temperature can be 0 ~ 3℃. The suitable storage humidity is 85% ~ 90%. Generally stored for about 5 months.

2. Storage method

(1) Trench storage method: select a dry and cool place with high terrain and excavate the north-south trench. The ditch is 30 cm deep, 10 cm above the ground, 100 cm wide at the top and 90 cm wide at the bottom. The length depends on the site and storage capacity. Spread a layer of sterilized sorghum straw or corn straw at the bottom of the ditch (soaked in 0.5% bleach solution and dried), and then spread a layer of sterilized straw or leaves at the bottom and wall of the ditch. The fruit is in the ditch and piled into an arc, with the middle about 15 cm higher than the ground and the two sides slightly lower than the ground. Sprinkle a layer of leaves on it first, and then cover it with a reed mat. Before freezing, cover the reed mat for sun protection during the day and open it for natural cooling at night. When the land is thin ice, it is only covered with a reed mat. When the temperature begins to drop, the thickness of the cold-proof object will continue to increase. After the temperature rises in spring, a cover is reserved for heat preservation. It is best for mountain plants to leave the ditch once.

(2) storage method of water tank: rinse the water tank with clean water first, and then use 0. 5% ~ 1% bleaching powder, dry and set aside. Spread a layer of sterilized fine sand on the bottom of the altar, then pour the selected hawthorn into the altar in turn and pile it on the altar surface, and cover it with fresh cabbage leaves or radish leaves to keep the humidity. Put the vat full of hawthorn in the shade behind the house. Cover the cylinder head in time in rainy days. From "Heavy Snow" to "Winter Solstice", empty the jar to remove the rotten fruit, move the jar to a room without fire, and tie it up and seal it when the grass freezes. Generally stored until the Spring Festival, the good fruit rate is above 95%.

(3) Storage method in shed cellar: soak the qualified hawthorn in 0. 1% carbendazim for 2 minutes, dry it after soaking, and then put it into polyethylene plastic bags with a length of 100 cm, a width of 75 cm and a thickness of 0.06 mm, each bag is 25 kg. In the early stage, the temperature was high, and the bags were not tied and overlapped, leaving a certain gap. Close the pit during the day and open it at night. With the decrease of temperature, the bag mouth is tightly tied, the cover is thickened, and there is generally no ventilation. Try to create a storage environment at or near 0℃. If the shed cellar is dry, water should be sprinkled on the ground to humidify it. Hawthorn can be preserved until April of the following year.

(4) Cold storage method: The hawthorn treated by carbendazim is put into 100cm×75cm polyethylene plastic bags, each bag is 25 kg, and some building water foam soaked with saturated potassium permanganate is put in to absorb the ethylene produced by hawthorn itself with ripening effect. After precooling, the fruit is tied to the mouth of the bag and stored in the cold storage. The temperature in the warehouse is kept at -2 ~ 0℃, and the humidity in the bag is kept at about 90%. When the oxygen in the bag is lower than 2% or the carbon dioxide is higher than 5%, open the bag for ventilation. This method can be preserved for half a year.
