Or your diskless patch.
When the machine crashes because of opening the game, you can end the process of Sims through the "Task Manager"-process!

Regarding patches, most good props patches need the grid provided by the expansion to be used in the game, so when downloading patches, you must pay attention to the expansion to which this patch applies before downloading.
PS: As for my document, the game speed is relatively slow, and one of the factors affecting it is the size of the remaining space on drive C. In order to prevent the patch you downloaded from directly invading the system disk, I suggest that you transfer my document to a disk other than drive C by right-clicking my document-"Move to"-and selecting the path.
So you can try to solve the problem first, change the path of "My Documents" and see if the C drive is not moving. You can ask me again if you have any questions ~ ~
