The stairs are hidden at one end of the lattice door. You can climb the stairs to the second floor. The room on the second floor is the master's bedroom and study. The ground is paved with wooden boards, which are installed around the patio about 1 m, and there are windows on it, which open from the outside to the inside. The other end of the lattice door can enter the slant hall, kitchen and wing, so the locals call it "Lotus Gate".

The patio in the main hall is spacious, with good lighting and ventilation. The patio ground is paved with Yixian bluestone, surrounded by drainage ditches and paved with green slates. The patio floor is only one or two centimeters shorter than the main hall. In the spring rain season, the rainwater falls into the patio along the dripping water and leaks into the culvert through the gap, so the drainage function is extremely smooth. Because the patio floor and the main hall floor are almost horizontal, visually, the front hall, patio and middle hall are integrated, and the hall is very spacious and open.
