Passerby: Living in an alley.
I know "passerby" because I love traveling, because it is a tourist-themed bar, which is said to be the earliest one in Beijing. It is located next to the Central Academy of Drama, an alley called Nanluoguxiang. On a hot summer night, the yard of passers-by is very lively, and the donkey friends who like to hang out on weekdays get together to have fun and chat. Seeing this scene reminds me of the outdoor scene, which represents our living conditions.
The boss "Bian Xiaoer" is the protagonist here, and he has created such a comfortable space. He wandered among us, drinking wine and answering words, with a happy and excited face. Yes, he should be excited on such a day. Looking back three years ago, "Xiao Dianer" said, "At that time, passers-by had less than 15 square meters of space. At that time, I was thinking about how long I could last. I never thought that I would make money one day, and then I experienced the blow of demolition and almost didn't survive. " Every time I think about it, Bian Xiao is filled with emotion. After all, it's not easy to survive these years.
"Bian Xiaoer" has a deep hutong complex. Even under the impact of demolition, he resolutely chose to continue to survive in the hutong. Bian Xiao has his own reasons for this. He thinks hutong is a kind of culture, which can best represent the mentality of travelers. Accustomed to the freedom of nature, individual travelers no longer like the hustle and bustle of the city, and hutong is just a seemingly crowded and noisy place, but in fact it is free and relaxed.
The theme of tourism has always been the survival of passers-by, and it is also the source of Xiao Bian's operation of this bar. He has rich travel experience and can feel what kind of environment and atmosphere people who love to travel need. He stubbornly believes that travel is indispensable to life, and life without travel experience is not wonderful and boring. I like coming here because of the influence of this atmosphere. Whenever you come here, you can meet friends who have traveled together, look at the photos they took during their travels, and listen to their anecdotes during their travels. The whole evening will be very enjoyable.
There: Life is not elsewhere.
When I came out from "there", the night in Houhai was calm and the cars on the road drove very fast. As soon as I waved, the car behind almost hit the car in front. The driver glared at me and went around to the back to continue driving very fast. I want to buy a pack of cigarettes, but it's late at night and the shop is closed. The driver said to give me his bag. I didn't have the guts to ask for it, but I finally asked for it. When I got off the bus, I paid for the cigarette.
"There" was first opened in Chengfu Street, a famous cultural hutong next to Peking University. Later, the Hutong was demolished and moved here, located in Maoer Hutong near Houhai. This hutong is very famous. There are many former residences of celebrities in Hutong, including the National Theatre. This is a bar with the theme of photography. On the wall, there are many master works and good films shot by bosses and friends in various places, mainly black and white art films. Sometimes, they also hold some special photo exhibitions in bars.
The leaflet "There" reads: "Life is somewhere else, or there …", which makes me have a good impression on this bar. People have no choice but to live bravely, be happy and sad in the face of birth, illness and death. This is reality. Just as Yu Hua said in the preface of the novel "Living": Reality is just an environment, a fixed and dead reality, and people can't see how they got in or how they got out.
Where do you live? Is it there? I have some questions. Let's light a cigarette, maybe we can get a glimpse of something from this little bright spot. I only see smoke rising. After more than three years of graduation, work and life are intertwined, which makes me confused whether work is for life or life is work. Work has not changed, life has not changed, day and night, two colors.
Bai Feng: It slipped away before our eyes.
Some time ago, there was a widely circulated text on the Internet called "Where are the top five cattle B in Beijing?", and one of them refers to Bai Feng. He is located on the roadside from Di 'anmen Street to Yindian Bridge, close to Houhai, and next to the famous "barbecue season" in Beijing. A shabby-looking house, with wooden windows blocking the sight of pedestrians, makes it hard to imagine that it would be a bar, and it could easily slide in front of our eyes.
I was first brought here by a friend who is engaged in photography. It was a winter afternoon, and the warm sunshine hit me through the window. I spent a pleasant afternoon with a cup of fragrant coffee and a calm mood.
The ice and snow on the lake haven't melted yet, and people skating in the distance are dancing heartily. An old man moved a small stool to sit on the ice, knocked a small hole and went fishing. I didn't see him hook the fish out of the water all afternoon, but he just sat there and I watched him from a distance.
People who come here are quiet people. There is no noise here, only soft music surrounds the space. Compared with most noisy bars, it seems to be more suitable for couples to date and whisper, so I seldom bring a large group of friends here.
It is particularly worth mentioning that the toilet in the bar is the best and most fragrant toilet I have ever seen. There are all kinds of plants and flowers in the room, and the smell in the small space is fragrant without any peculiar smell. This is not like a toilet, but more like a small greenhouse.
Left bank: the bar aristocrat in Houhai
Yindian Bridge turns left and goes south. Go straight along the lake and enter an alley. The lake gradually disappeared and a sandbar appeared, that is, the left bank. I really like the name "Left Bank". In my impression, Rene Liu had a song called Left Bank, and the French New Film Academy called Left Bank School. "Left Bank", formerly known as "Blue Lotus", can show movies and often gather various spiritual nobles and intellectuals.
Compared with other bars in Houhai, the left bank is more noble, with spacious bamboo chairs, generous tables, old-fashioned furniture and ornaments, and a spacious and comfortable sofa in the room. People sitting on it will sink deeply, stretch and be very comfortable.
A bar, no matter what your theme is, no matter whether you have a theme or not, is mainly to make people sit comfortably, so I like this kind of bar. Therefore, when I am tired and want to relax my tired body, I usually come here, especially in the afternoon.
Hutong freehand brushwork: watching the cars coming and going at Yindian Bridge.
"Hutong freehand brushwork" is too small and easy to be missed. If there aren't some desks and chairs at the door, you won't believe that there is a hole in this small scroll. There are many impressionist paintings hanging in the narrow space, like a painter's small studio. Every time I pass by, I will see many foreign faces sitting on chairs supported by the lake.
I've only been here twice, once with a girl who paints and once by myself. The girl is from Shenzhen. Let me bring her by name. I don't know where she heard about this bar, or she read about it in City Pictorial. It was an afternoon when I came by myself, so I seldom had leisure. I walked around Houhai Hutong with my camera, and finally sat in the "Hutong freehand brushwork" and watched the cars coming and going at Yindian Bridge.
The ancient silver temple bridge, she is really tired and overwhelmed. ...
Houhai Bar: Listen to the piano coming in.
Similar to other bars, simple old furniture, green plants, personalized decoration and lazy feeling. There are not many bars in Houhai area, so maybe the space can avoid too much noise, which is why I like to come to Houhai bar.
For the first time, I sat by the lake with a group of foodies at the dinner party, blowing the wind and chatting. Every time I come to Houhai, I will casually stroll around here; Every time I come here, I will meet foodies who are having a happy meal. I heard that I can get a 20% discount for mentioning the name of Ghost Brother, but I only know the ID of Ghost Brother, and people don't recognize it.
The moon is high and the clouds are light, the light is ambiguous, and the faint erhu or pipa sound wafts from the cruise ship on the lake, adding a petty bourgeoisie to the quiet Houhai. Whispering lovers, brothers who treat wine as a song. Melodious piano sounds remind people of the river in my hometown and my childhood friend Xia Na, who caught crickets at night.
Houhai is a place suitable for nostalgia. Every time I come to Houhai, I feel nostalgic. Damn, I'm getting old.
