The renovation project of Chongqing People's Auditorium, which lasted for 9 months and cost 70 million yuan, was officially completed recently. The indoor "Jinding" used 260,000 pieces of gold, each worth 10 yuan. Chongqing also hopes to list the auditorium as a national cultural relic. According to Chongqing Business Daily, a press conference was held on June 16 to complete the renovation of Chongqing Auditorium. The reconstructed auditorium is expected to be officially opened to the public on June 1 day, and the ticket price will not be adjusted for the time being, and it will still be 5 yuan/person. The auditorium will be the venue of the third Party Congress in Chongqing. Chongqing officials don't think such decoration will be too luxurious at all. According to the auditorium management office, 260,000 pieces of gold make the auditorium more magnificent, including the South Building, the North Building and the Jinding, all decorated with gold. The color of the blue tile surface turned into a malachite blue glazed tile: the original blue tile surface became malachite blue. In order to adjust this color tone, the organizing committee selected a glazed tile factory with a history of more than 700 years in Qufu, Shandong Province after several investigations. In order to adjust this hue, the metals used in the formula must reach a suitable proportion, so that the amount of each metal can be weighed with a balance. It is reported that the green color of 1.5% is added to the peacock orchid, which makes the appearance of the tile surface of the auditorium closer to the previous color, and the number of glazed tiles used in the whole project reaches 1.7 million. Jinding Slimming: 1 1 ton Weight loss The 3-ton auditorium is the symbol and landmark of Chongqing, and Jinding is the symbol of the auditorium. After the restoration, the auditorium lost three tons of weight, but its appearance and size remained unchanged. It is reported that due to the previous Jinding weight 1 1 ton, the weight borne by the dome is too large. An important part of this restoration is to "lose weight" for Jinding. During the restoration, a lot of wood, concrete and tiles supporting the golden dome were removed to reduce the pressure on the dome. It is reported that the demolished wood and concrete were replaced by a light steel, and the weight of Jinding immediately dropped by three tons, but the appearance and size of Jinding did not change at all. Painting: Sunflowers in rafters return to the shape of "Wan". Another major change in this restoration is that the word "ten thousand" returns to the painting method of rafters and abandons the previous sunflower style. The painting design is decorated with golden dragon and seal color painting, which belongs to the highest level of ancient architectural color painting. It is reported that both the Temple of Heaven and the Hall of Supreme Harmony use this kind of painting. The biggest feature of this painting is the strong contrast between gold and turquoise background. On the concentrated background, it is covered with dazzling golden patterns, which makes the building resplendent. Wu Tao, Secretary-General of Chongqing Municipal Bureau of Cultural Relics and Director of the Special Committee of Historical and Cultural Cities of Planning Society, said at the seminar of the Auditorium that the reconstructed auditorium has the basic conditions to declare national cultural relics units, and the declaration work is expected to start in July this year.
