The chemical composition of 30CrNiMo8 contains 0.26-0.34% carbon. The manganese content in the material is 0.5-0.8%, which makes the material hard. The content of P is reduced to 0.025% and S to 0.035% max, because excessive P and S will damage the quality of steel and may lead to the fracture of alloy steel under low stress. The high chromium content is 1.8-2.2%, which increases the extra yield and tension during heat treatment.

Mechanical properties of 30CrNiMo8
Compared with other steel grades, 30CrNiMo8 steel has higher tensile strength. 30CrNiMo8 has high hardness and is suitable for hard mechanical parts. It has good ductility, extremely high toughness and good wear resistance under quenching and tempering conditions.

Application of 30CrNiMo8
