1. Right-click the computer icon and select Properties, as shown in the following figure:
2. Select "Advanced System Settings" on the left in the opened window, as shown in the following figure:
3. Click the Settings button in the performance bar, as shown in the figure below:
4. Click the Advanced tab in the performance options and click the Change button in the Virtual Memory column, as shown in the following figure:
5. On the virtual memory setting page, remove the check in front of "Automatically manage the paging file size of all drives", as shown in the figure below, and then you can set the virtual memory according to your own ideas.
It should be noted that as an auxiliary supplement to physical memory, the larger the virtual memory, the better. Generally speaking, the size of virtual memory is set to about 1- 1.5 times of the physical memory capacity. Too large or too small will affect or even slow down the system performance, so if it is unnecessary, it is best to hand over the virtual memory to the system for automatic management.
