How to raise arowana
1. When tap water in any city just comes out of the tap water pipeline, it will contain some chlorine components (used for disinfection of drinking water). These chlorine elements ensure the health and safety of our drinking water, but for arowana, chlorine is harmful. So before raising arowana, we need to adjust the tap water to be suitable for fish farming. The method is simple: put enough tap water in a new water tank, and first open the filter and circulate for about 3 days. Then turn on the heating device, adjust the temperature to 27-28 degrees Celsius (this temperature is usually the favorite water temperature of arowana, please keep it), and recycle it for 2-3 days, then you can put your favorite arowana into the tank. 2. Because arowana is a large fish (the adult size can reach 50-60CM), we need to prepare a 1.2 m- 1.5 m fish tank with a width of 50-60CM to feed your favorite fish.

3. Arowana is a long-lived fish. If you raise it well, you can stay with you for 30-50 years, but how can you feed it to make the baby arowana live healthier?

In fact, it is very simple, that is, regular feeding+reasonable feeding amount.

Arowana within 20 cm-30 cm should be fed 1-2 times a day, 7-80% full each time.

The arowana with the size of 30CM—45CM should be fed/kloc-0 times a day, with 7-8 minutes full each time.

Arowana above 45CM can be fed once every other day, and each time it is 7-8 minutes full.

According to the above feeding amount, your arowana will be healthy and won't get fat. Please remember that fat fish love to get sick:) 4. When we feed arowana every day, you can try to prepare different recipes for your favorite fish. Can prepare small fish, shrimp, loach and so on. For them (remove the tip of the shrimp head before feeding, otherwise it will easily hurt the stomach of arowana). Before feeding small fish loach to arowana, it is best to freeze it in advance according to the amount of fish in each meal, and then feed it after thawing if necessary (because small living animals are easy to carry parasites and bacteria; Freezing can play a very good role in preventing bacteria). If conditions permit, you can also buy some insects such as crickets and breadworms for your pet fish every 1-2 months (the insect food itself is vegetarian, which can supplement some essential vitamins for arowana).

Any animal needs metabolism to survive. Arowana lives in water all its life, so its metabolism is in water. Therefore, we must change the fresh water for Ailong regularly to keep their best living environment. Usually, we can change the intercepted tap water into the aquarium where arowana lives according to the amount of one week 1/4 times (intercepting water is the process of drying tap water in a bucket for more than 12 hours to volatilize chlorine in the water). If possible, it is best to change the water twice a week, with the ratio of 1/5 each time.
