When taking a taxi from Lhasa Railway Station to downtown, 25 yuan is generally charged by the meter. However, most taxi drivers are unwilling to charge by meter (non-standard), and the negotiated price is around 40 yuan. There is another way to take a taxi. Taxi drivers will strive for enough talents to leave. The price is around 15-20 yuan. Please discuss the details with the driver.

There are several buses in Lhasa, which can go to major tourist attractions, and the fares are all in 2 yuan. There are many cars, one every minute, and there are not many people on the bus. The characteristic means of transportation in Lhasa is also the favorite means of transportation for most travelers. Each car can take two people, and you can observe the local customs along the way, and it is also convenient to walk through the streets and alleys of Lhasa. The only trouble is that many Tibetan drivers don't understand Chinese. I suggest you learn some simple Tibetan first, at least learn to count, the most practical is 3 to 5.
