Gongga Airport is located in Gongga County, 98km south of Lhasa. The airport bus runs between the airport and the civil aviation ticketing center of Niangniang Road in Lhasa. When taking a taxi from Lhasa Railway Station to downtown, 25 yuan is generally charged by the meter. At present, there are four main highway passenger stations in Lhasa: Eastern Suburb, Western Suburb, Northern Suburb and Liu Wu.

Passenger buses to Shannan area run every 20 minutes, to Shigatse area every 30 minutes, and to Naqu area every hour.
