The problem lies in the word "* * *", and the goddess of salt water tries to retain some power. The military migration of Lin Junba people is probably caused by salt. The author thinks that the focus of the contradiction between Lin Jun and Salt god should be the power struggle. Salt god hopes to resolve conflicts and continue his clan through * * * governance and affinity. She put forward the condition that "this place is vast, fish and salt are produced, and she is willing to stay in * * *", which is really a last resort. But Lin Jun's answer was categorical: "I want to be a gentleman and beg for land, and I can't stop." It's simple. No one can stop you from being king and expanding your territory.
In the sentence "After more than ten days, if you wait for the king, you will be shot for it", two messages are conveyed: keep the fetters for a long time and get rid of your opponents. Perhaps, in order to be forced to submit, the goddess once put Lin Jun under house arrest. So there are literary expressions in historical materials, such as flying insects covering the sky, to express troubles and struggles. The appearance of shading can be explained by the local environment. "The different surface morphology in the county leads to special microclimate in some areas. First, in some areas, heavy mountains and overlapping obstacles have formed many closed, warm, foggy and bright small basins, such as the Qingjiang River Basin ... "It is also recorded in the Water Mirror Note that" ... there are hot springs, which are warm in winter and hot in summer, and the river is often foggy ",so it is definitely impossible to sail on the foggy river. Therefore, "daytime turns into flying insects, flying with all kinds of insects", "hiding sunlight, darkness between heaven and earth" and so on. Or it can be thought that the Salt god tribe used the foggy sky to trouble their opponents. And "Salt god died, the sky opened wide" can be interpreted as the fog dispersed and the clouds opened, and the affairs broke through the tight encirclement, realizing the desire to occupy the goddess' territory. Finally, a matriarchal clan regime, together with its vast area of "fish and salt" and the beautiful dream of the goddess, was shattered in the face of cruel facts. The position of Yicheng in ancient books has long been debated in academic circles. Some people say that today's Enshi has today's Changyang (Yidu), and some people think that today's Changyang Quxi. The author agrees that it should be near the incense burner stone. Archaeological excavation shows that it is a typical site of Ba people in the early Xia, Shang and Zhou dynasties in China, and it has become an indisputable conclusion in academic circles that Lin Junba people began to live in the middle reaches of Qingjiang River at the latest in the late summer. One of the reasons is that judging from the heavy cultural accumulation and long time of the Xianglushi site, there is no second one in the whole Qingjiang River basin. Since 1980s, the sites of ancient culture in Xia, Shang and Zhou dynasties discovered in the middle reaches of Qingjiang River are mainly distributed in Changyang, including Xianglushi, Masteping, Nan 'anping and Shentan Bay. Among these confirmed early Ba sites, Xianglushi site is the most representative. "Incense burner stone, located 0.5km east of Yuxiakou Town, was found in 1983. The vertical height of the site from Qingjiang River is about 150m, and the area is about 1000m2. A large number of pottery fragments and pottery net pendants were found in cultural relics. " The cultural relics unearthed from the Xianglushi site are very rich, which lasted for more than 1000 years from Xia and Shang Dynasties to the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period. The ground floor (7th floor) of the site belongs to the cultural layer of the late Xia Dynasty (carbon 14 dating data is 4090 100 years ago). "Experts have found a large number of life-related animal bones, bird bones and fish bones from this layer. At the end of summer, Ba people in Qingjiang River valley mainly relied on primitive fishing and hunting economy, and fish, livestock and poultry were their own.
The second reason is that geographically, it is surrounded by mountains and waters, and the terrain is dangerous. There are controllable salt springs in the upper part and convenient rivers in the lower part. Obviously, it is a good stronghold for military defense, which can defend the east and control the west, defend the territory of Yishui, and is suitable for being a ruling center. Compared with historical records, the geographical environment of censer stone is also similar to that described in Ying Shao's Custom Pass in the Eastern Han Dynasty, that is, "Lin Jun went down to Yicheng with a boat, and the stone shore was curved, and the water was also curved" ("Book of Bei Tang, Buxue Pian"). At the foot of the White Tiger Longshan Mountain, the incense burner stone enters the Yishui River, and the water flows to the fishing gorge, first turning south, then north, and then east. It can be said that the shore bends and the water bends. The description in the history book says that "the shore is a collapsed place, which is more than three feet wide, but the steps are multiplied ... There is a shiping on the shore, which is one foot square and five feet long". It is also similar to the censer stone, with a height of 30 meters and a flat top. The stone edge is about 100 meters long, about 10 meters wide and about/0 meters high.
The third reason is that from the consistent viewpoint of "going down to Yicheng" in the literature, the orientation of Yicheng should be in the lower reaches of Qingyang, otherwise it should be "back" or "up". Looking at the terrain, from the sun to Enshi, there is a big gap between the Qingjiang River and the waterway. Qingjiang River enters the canyon about 5 kilometers south of Enshi. The river is narrow and rocky. Jumping on the beach is especially dangerous. During the flood, the waves were terrible and the water was as thin as practicing in low water, with a total drop of about 280 meters. It is unreasonable to ask Pakistanis to carry "earthen boats" over mountains and mountains to build cities, and it is not conducive to controlling the whole territory to build the upper and lower reaches of Yu Qingjiang, the ruling center. On the contrary, the water surface in the middle reaches of Qingjiang River is relatively flat and easy to sail.
The fourth reason, from the local place names, is also related to Lin Jun. This place name has been handed down from generation to generation by local people, and there are some ancient place names in this area, such as Manjiawan, Bawangtuo and Banmu Dunao, which are all related to their death and the activities of Ba people. The earliest record of Ba people's deeds is the ancient document Shan Hai Jing. Among them, "there is Pakistan in the southwest, Dalu gave birth to salty birds, and the salty birds were born to Li. The photos were taken after Li was born." (Shan Hai Jing Hai Nei Jing); "There is Pakistan in the southwest, with black snakes, green heads and eating elephants" (Shan Hai Jing Huang Da Bei Jing); "Xia Hou's minister of enlightenment is called Meng Tu, who is the god of Ba" (Shan Hai Jing, Hainan Nan Jing). And it can be mutually confirmed with the record of "Eight years (Qi) emperor made Meng Tusu look like Ba Kui" ("Annals of Bamboo Books"). This shows that the origin of Ba people is very long. But we didn't read anything about Lin Jun in Shan Hai Jing. It was the latecomers who put the Wild South Classic in "a country of fat people, where Emperor Shun was born without prostitution and was reduced to a fat place. It is the explanation that "killing witches" in the paragraph of "killing witches" means "killing witches", and because there is a saying in Shiben that "Lin Jun precedes Yan Wu", Lin Jun's affair has continued the blood relationship with the ancient Ba ethnic group. In fact, the Ba nationality in history is much earlier than the Lin Jun nationality. However, Ba, which is in the service stage, is only the later development or tributary of Ba people. It should be the minister who makes the Ba people famous in the world. His deeds are mainly reflected in the trilogy of "fighting for the gods" (throwing swords and building earth boats), plundering land (taking the land of the goddess of salt water) and founding the country (that is, building a capital Yicheng). These three major events met the needs of social development at that time. As for the first great achievement, the author has already discussed it in the article "On Ba people and native ships". This is the success of Lin Jun's internal unification, from which he became the leader of the tribe and had an army capable of driving clay boats to fight. And laid the foundation for its goal of "I am the king and seek land". The second great achievement is to seize the territory of the goddess of salt water, "to breed the land ship and Wang Yishui; "Shooting, Pakistanis think it's a god" (Water Mirror Zhu quoted from Shiben). This is an important step in its outward expansion and plunder, which greatly improves the status of the forest army. The third great achievement is to build a city and be king. "Lin Jun is the monarch and all four surnames are ministers", establishing the absolute authority of the individual and replacing the clan system with the prototype of the country are the logical development of the first two stages. The leader of the tribe became a "king" and was also called a "king" among the people. The word "Wang Xiang" is actually "secular, and ... it evolved from" Xiang "(Xianfeng Xianyang County Records 1852). Tujia folk songs also convey people's admiration for Wang and affirmation of his development of Qingjiang River: "Blow out a Qingjiang River from the corner of Wang, the sound rises high and floods low, and the corner bends, blowing into a curved Qingjiang River. There are two points worth noting: First, the sentence "Lin Jun is the master of the Ba people and has made great contributions to the founding of the country" in Changle County Records, in which the title of "Lin Jun" refers to the leader of the Ba people, which can be a minister or other leaders of the Ba people. 2. Defending Guan Yu's official position "Defending Guan Yu and Wang Ba" should refer to Bashan Gorge, one of the Three Gorges of Qingjiang River. Bashan Gorge, known as Hanguan in ancient times, starts from Xiakou in Duzhen Bay Area in the east and reaches Xiwan in Maji District in the west, with a total length of 5 kilometers. The mountain stands upright, broad and steep, flat as a mirror, and the static shadow becomes a wall "[9]. "Shouguan Lu" should refer to this, not other places, because the book of ministers has become immortal in Baihulong near Yicheng.
In the legend of Lin Jun and the goddess of water and salt mentioned above, we have three intriguing questions. One is how to treat the romance of the goddess of salt water, the other is the tragedy of the goddess of salt water, and the third is the worship of the monarch and the white tiger. These three points are the topics that the author will focus on in the next section.
