Option 1:
Connect the circuit as shown in the answer sheet, and then try to touch it with a switch. If the voltmeter pointer deflects forward, it means that the copper rod connected to the positive electrode of the voltmeter is the positive electrode of the battery. If the voltmeter deflects in the opposite direction, the aluminum rod is the positive electrode of the battery.
Option 2:
Connect the aluminum rod of Baltar battery with the negative electrode of the ammeter, and then try to contact the positive electrode of the ammeter with the wire connecting the copper rod. If the ammeter pointer deflects forward, it means that the copper rod is the positive electrode of the battery. If the ammeter deflects reversely, the aluminum rod is the positive electrode of the battery.
Option 3:
Connect the circuit as shown in the answer sheet and close the switch. If the low-voltage diode emits light, the copper rod is the positive electrode of the battery. If the diode does not emit light, the aluminum rod is the positive electrode.
