Speech in Ethics Lecture Hall 1 Dear XX:
As an ordinary person, it seems inappropriate to mention the word "morality" here, but the reality is that our nation has been deeply rooted in moral propaganda, including ordinary people like me; Furthermore, the binding force of morality exists for everyone.
Some people may ask, what is morality? Morality is a code of conduct to adjust the relationship between people and between individuals and society. In my opinion, morality is patriotism, love for the people, unity and mutual assistance: morality is also thrift and hard work; Morality is more law-abiding, lead an honest and clean life; Morality is still civilization, courtesy, self-esteem and self-improvement.
Spring back to the earth, emphasizing the topic of morality, feels both familiar and unfamiliar. After all, morality is closely related to us in our lives and has never been separated. Morality is inherent in human beings and society. The British writer Han Yin Su once said, "What is the biggest problem in the world now? No morality. " She said that the background and other aspects of the world decades ago are different from those of that era, and its moral norms will be different, but one thing will not change, that is, it is immoral to emphasize personal interests at the expense of others.
A philosopher once said, "Morality is usually regarded as the noblest purpose of mankind." The times are developing, the society is progressing, and morality is the foundation of a country's prosperity. A country should have a backbone of national spirit and a nation should have a pioneer of national morality. Kong Fansen and Li Suli are models of morality. They used their own practical actions to show the public the style of selflessness for the people, such as a spring breeze, which warms people's hearts.
How to be a moral person? Personally, we should first do "don't do small good, don't do small evil." Liu Bei once taught his son this way during the Three Kingdoms period. If we can start from the small things around us and be strict with ourselves, then every time we do something, our moral level will be sublimated. Step by step, even thousands of miles; Streams converge to form rivers and seas. We should be good at starting from the big picture, focusing on the small picture, starting from the big picture, and never be small but useless.
To be a moral person, we should pay attention to cultivating our own moral concepts and the unity of knowledge, emotion, will and action. We can't just talk about motivation regardless of the effect, and we can't just judge its good or evil according to the effect. We should pay attention to moral cognition, handle the relationship between knowledge and practice, pay attention to the exercise of actual behavior, and enhance moral emotion and willpower in practice.
Throughout the ages, things have changed. Although times have changed and times are changing, the importance of moral construction has not diminished, but has increased day by day. Our party and government attach great importance to the construction of citizens' morality. People often say: morality is a stone, knocking out the fire of hope; Morality is fire, which lights the lamp of hope; Morality is a lamp that illuminates the road of life; Morality is the road, leading people to glory.
Let us consciously be propagandists, practitioners and defenders of moral construction from now on, and be moral people.
Everyone is eager for a better tomorrow. Living in a land full of flowers is not waiting. A happy life must create and possess spiritual civilization and material civilization marked by moral standards between people. Strengthen the construction of legal system, abide by civic conventions, please believe in blue sky, white clouds, sunshine, rain and dew, and happiness. Peace will always be with us.
Thank you!
In the second lecture of Morality Lecture Hall, a story is recorded: a man named Cai Wei borrowed 1200 gold from his friend, but there was no debit note. A few years later, when his friend died, he called his friend's son home and returned him 1200 gold. However, my friend's son was shocked and determined. He smiled and said, "There is no such thing. My father didn't leave me an iou, nor did he tell me about it orally. " Cai Wei said: "The IOUs are in the heart, not on the paper, but the integrity in the heart is fundamental. Your father didn't tell you because he knew I was an honest man. He trusts me so much, how can I break my word? " Finally, I returned the gold to him. This story is thought-provoking, because Cai Wei said that external legal constraints such as IOUs, contracts and contracts are important, but people's honesty is more important. If a person has no integrity and moral self-discipline, he may take advantage of external and legal loopholes, and even disregard legal obligations for his own self-interest.
People's respect for moral norms, honesty, moral personality and dignity in people's minds are people's moral beliefs. Morality is a practical reason, which aims to solve the problem of "what should I do". "What should I do" includes two aspects: first, how should I do things, and second, how should I behave. The latter is more fundamental than the former and should be expressed through the former. Moral belief involves these two aspects, but its core is the second aspect. Moral belief is the confirmation and belief of moral ideal goal, the setting of how to be a man and the setting of ideal personality. Moral belief proves or shows the sanctity and dignity of human nature with personality, and shows the value of human beings. The establishment of a moral belief represents the formation of a moral value system and the integration of people's moral cognition, moral emotion, moral will, moral personality, moral concept and moral motivation, thus unifying people's scattered beliefs and values about morality and forming an orderly order.
The moral value system has become the basic framework for regulating all one's life activities and behavior choices. Once the integration is completed, as a whole value system, moral belief plays an important role in all aspects of moral life.
In the traditional culture of China, "honesty" is very close to moral belief. Mencius said, "Honesty is the way of heaven and the way of being human." Having nothing to do with sincerity and immobile, insincere and inactive. Mencius' "sincerity" is truth. The sky is true and innocent, and people should also pursue truth and innocence. Achieving sincerity can move people, but not reaching sincerity can't move people. Xunzi also attached importance to "sincerity", which is the basis of all virtues. He said: "A gentleman is not good at honesty when raising his heart. Honesty is nothing." The Doctrine of the Mean regards honesty as the most important moral concept. "The Doctrine of the Mean" said: "A loyal person has a heavenly way; Honest people, people's way is also. An honest man, unwilling to work hard, gets it without thinking, goes with the times and becomes a saint. Honest people choose goodness and are stubborn. " It can be seen that sincerity is to try its best to understand nature and achieve the lofty realm of harmony between man and nature. This is China's characteristic moral belief, which does not depend on religion or theology, but from the unity of human nature and nature, human nature and heaven, from the belief that human nature is good and through the way of knowing heaven as much as possible, to achieve the ideal life realm of harmony between man and nature.
When Einstein/kloc-was 0/6 years old, he failed several courses because he was with a group of naughty children all day. One weekend morning, Einstein was preparing to go fishing with a fishing rod and the group of children. His father stopped him and said to him calmly, "Einstein, you have been playing all day and failed your homework." Your mother and I are very worried about your future. "
"What's there to worry about? Jack and Robert also failed. Didn't they go fishing as usual? "
"Son, you must not think like this." Father looked at Einstein affectionately and said, "There is such a fable in our hometown. I hope you can listen carefully. "
"There are two cats playing on the roof. Inadvertently, a cat fell into the smoke window with another cat in her arms. When two cats climbed out of the smoke window, one cat's face was covered with black smoke, while the other cat's face was clean. The clean cat saw a cat with a black face, thought its face was dirty and ugly, and ran to the river to wash it. When the black-faced cat saw the clean cat and thought his face was clean, he wandered into the street. "
"Einstein, no one can be your mirror, only you are your mirror. Taking others as their own mirror, a genius may look like a fool. "
Hearing this, Einstein put down his fishing rod in shame and went back to his hut.
From then on, Einstein often regarded himself as a mirror to examine and reflect on himself, constantly suggesting to himself: I am unique, and I don't need to be as mediocre as others. This is why Einstein became Einstein.
Three small benches
When Einstein was young, he had a handicraft class. He wants to make a small wooden stool. As soon as the bell rang, the students scrambled to come up with their own works and gave them to this beautiful and strict female teacher. Einstein didn't take out his own work, and he was sweating with anxiety. The female teacher looked at the boy who was excellent in mathematics and geometry generously, believing that he could hand in a good work.
The next day, Einstein gave the female teacher a rough small bench, and one leg of the bench was nailed off. The expectant female teacher said to the class with great dissatisfaction, "Who of you has ever seen such bad shit?" The students snickered and shook their heads. The teacher took another look at Einstein and said angrily, "I don't think there will be a worse stool in the world." There was a burst of laughter in the classroom.
Einstein blushed. He walked up to the teacher and said affirmatively, "Yes, sir, there are worse stools." The classroom suddenly became quiet, and everyone looked at Einstein in doubt. He walked back to his seat, took out two rough wooden stools from under his desk, and said, "This is my first and second time to do it. The third wooden stool was just given to the teacher. Although it is not satisfactory, it is better than the first two. "
This time, everyone stopped laughing. The female teacher nodded to Einstein affectionately and thoughtfully, and the students also cast admiration and approval on him.
Article 4: Speech in Moral Lecture Hall Dear staff:
Good evening, everyone!
Welcome to the Double Love Moral Lecture Hall. Tell a moral story about the good people around me. I'm Zhu Pei, the host.
As we all know, with the continuous development of society, people's ideas and values are increasingly diversified, and their cultural life and spiritual needs are more diversified. In order to actively adapt to the development and changes of the situation and vigorously carry forward the moral strength of the Chinese nation, we have set up a moral lecture hall. Through this carrier, employees can have a place to communicate and small contradictions can be solved. We can tell a moral story of a good person around us with our own personal feelings. These stories come from and go to the masses, so they are more amiable, respectable and credible, thus creating a society that "accumulates small virtues as great virtues and accumulates small virtues as good deeds".
The moral lecture hall has five prescribed links: singing, telling stories, reciting classics, watching short films and making comments.
