In recent years, under the correct leadership of the Party committee and government at higher levels, our village has set the goal of building a prosperous, civilized and harmonious new countryside, adhered to Scientific Outlook on Development, made overall plans with the thought of the 17th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, and made concerted efforts with Qi Xin to promote agriculture through industry, and embarked on a broad road of prospering enterprises and enriching the people and leading the village through enterprises. Our village was awarded the honorary titles of "civilized village" and "welfare model village".

In the construction of new countryside, our village strictly follows the policy of "Twenty Horizons" in rural construction, fully mobilizes the enthusiasm and creativity of the broad masses of farmers, takes the development of rural economy as the center, scientifically formulates construction plans, and combines the actual situation of the village to build new cultural squares and village-level activity places. Greening has hardened all the streets and lanes in the village, and opened up a parking lot that can accommodate more than 200 large trucks. While promoting the development of aquaculture projects in the village, it has also improved, expanded and transformed the 100 mu fish pond. In 2009, more than 700,000 yuan was invested to install tap water, which solved the problem of drinking water for people and increased fitness equipment.

In order to safeguard the interests of the masses, vigorously strengthen the construction of a clean and honest government, highlight the openness of the three affairs, actively carry out democratic appraisal of the party style, conscientiously implement various policies to support agriculture and benefit farmers, and strive to solve the vital interests of the peasants. In 2009, the per capita income of the whole village was more than 7,200 yuan. The two village committees supported each other, pioneered and innovated, and all undertakings developed healthily, forming a new situation of stable village conditions and simple folk customs.
