Time, a new work by famous Korean director Jin Jide, was selected as the opening film of 4 1 Karlovy Farley Film Festival. The director hopes to explore how love can resist the passage of time through this film, and puts forward such a question: can love endure the tempering of time with the change of appearance? The story of Time is actually very simple-after falling in love with her boyfriend for many years, the heroine chose to leave because she was afraid that the man would get tired of this relationship. The heroine even completely changed her face in the extreme way of plastic surgery, and appeared in front of her boyfriend with a brand-new look and identity six months later. After repeated temptations, the heroine found that her boyfriend still loved her. One day, the hero finally knew the truth, and he felt cheated and played. In order to get back at him, he decided to have a facelift and let the heroine find him beyond recognition in the vast sea of people. Behind the extreme love and hate, sadness and helplessness, the director not only discusses the relationship between the passage of time and love, but also hopes to further analyze the far-reaching influence of plastic surgery, an increasingly common phenomenon, on Korean society with the help of the film Time.
