S45c/S50c/S55c common plastic die steel. Japanese JIS standard steel grades are similar to China's high-quality carbon structural steels 45, 50 and 55, respectively, and are often used for non-important parts of molds, such as mold bases. Due to the special requirements of die steel, the production process of this kind of steel requires concentrate, refining and vacuum degassing, and the carbon content range of steel is reduced, and the sulfur and phosphorus contents are controlled at a low level.
