Let me talk about my personal feelings from the aspects of food, clothing, housing and transportation.
First, the change of clothing:
In the fifties and sixties, people lived a life without food and clothing, and their clothes were in rags. They are all worn in spring, summer, autumn and winter and cannot be changed at all. I remember 1973 when I went to normal school, the whole family was happy for me, but I didn't even go to school with a decent dress. My mother was embarrassed, so I had to discuss with my sister-in-law and let me wear her wedding clothes. I was particularly excited at that time, thanks to my sister-in-law. The students all envy coming to the normal school with dignity. The school held a cross-country race in winter, and I signed up. But I don't even have long pants. How can I finish the task easily? At that time, I had to give up face and borrow a patched pair of broken autumn trousers from my best classmate to participate in the competition. Looking back, it's shabby. Now, I have more than a dozen sets of underwear and various coats, ranging from 1000 yuan to several hundred yuan. I can wear leather clothes, cashmere coats and high fashion at will. It's really cotton in winter and single in summer. It is comfortable and elegant to wear.
Second, diet.
We used to eat chaff, but after the last meal, we were so hungry that we cried. At night, I was so hungry that I couldn't sleep at all. During the day, my hungry eyes were starry and dark. I look forward to the Spring Festival all day, because I can't eat jiaozi until the Spring Festival. Now rice and white flour are served with meat, chicken, duck and fish every day. Every day is like Chinese New Year. You can eat and drink, and the food on the table is rich and varied. With the season, I eat fresh vegetables and fruits in season, and I don't even know what to eat when cooking. Because the new year is not new.
Three. Changes in housing
I remember that when I was in love with my lover, there were four people in his family who only lived in a semi-small bungalow or staff dormitory. In-laws share a room, and my wife and brother-in-law share a room with bunk beds. Occasionally, I have no place to live, so my wife has to stay at my sister-in-law's house for one night. When we got married, my father won a house of less than 10 square meter from the clothing factory. The furniture is simple, too. There is a locker, a small wardrobe, a table with three drawers, two chairs and a bed. This is all the property. 1980, my father and I shared a three-bedroom apartment, and the whole family moved into the building happily. 1990 my wife's unit was also assigned a three-bedroom apartment. We decorated the house, pasted wallpaper, and bought complete sets of furniture such as color TV, refrigerator and washing machine. Don't mention how happy you are. I never dreamed that 1990, in order to change the housing conditions of employees, my lover's unit bought a building in Xiluyuan, Liangxiang, and we were divided into three bedrooms of nearly 90 square meters. Redecorated and upgraded, the bedroom is spacious and bright, with a full set of furniture and electrical appliances. A family of four lives under one roof, enjoying a harmonious and carefree life. I feel very satisfied. At the same time, I also bought a one-bedroom building for my son in the city. Thanks to the * * * production party, our children work smoothly, live and work in peace and contentment, and the old couple enjoy family happiness.
Fourth, the change of travel.
In the past, people walked on two legs, no matter how far they were, they always walked. I remember when I was in primary school, I was more than 50 miles away from home. Every day, students walk home for lunch in groups of three. At that time, it was only fifty cents by bus, but they were reluctant to spend it because there was no money at all. At present, our travel is very convenient, all kinds of buses extend in all directions, the fares are discounted, the people get benefits, and more and more people travel. Shopping in the street still requires taxis, tricycles and the like. With the continuous improvement of people's living standards, every family has a car. No matter how many private cars are driving in the streets, my family has bought two one after another. When something happens, I can go wherever I want! Travel is particularly convenient. All these fully reflect the great changes in my family in the past xx years of reform and opening up, and it is the party's policies that have brought us a happy life. We should cherish today's happy life and give full play to our light and heat under the leadership of the CPC Central Committee. I hope our motherland will be stronger. I am deeply proud of growing up in such a country.
