Installation and configuration of Kirin system
Briefly introduce the installation of Kirin system (server version). The following are all operated on the VMare workstation.

First, the configuration of virtual machine environment

1. First create a new virtual machine.

2. Select Custom (Advanced) to create a new virtual machine, and then click Next.

3. My VMare workstation version is 15, so I want to choose the following version. You can choose according to your version of VMare workstation, and then click Next.

4. We choose to install the system later, and then click Next.

5. Because the kernel version used in Kirin system is relatively high, here we choose Linux as the operating system, and others choose Linux4.x 64-bit version. Click Next.

6. The name of the virtual machine depends on your preference. You must select the location where the virtual machine is installed. I will install many virtual machines myself and have a special directory. Click Browse, select the directory where my computer virtual machine is installed, and create a new folder of Kirin system, as shown in the figure. Select and click Next.

7. Set the processor of the virtual machine of Kirin system to see your preference. Generally, you can set up 2-4CPU for your own virtual machine, depending on the production needs. When the settings are complete, click Next.

8. Set the memory of the virtual machine of Kirin system. I set it to 2G, but generally my virtual machine can be set to 2-4G. It depends on the needs in production. When the settings are complete, click Next.

9. I set the VMare workstation on my computer to NAT mode, so this network is equivalent to the large-scale network architecture I built in advance. You can also choose to bridge the network, then check your computer settings and click Next.

10, SCSI controller selection suggestion, default configuration, click Next.

1 1, select SCSI as the disk type, which is the default configuration. When the settings are complete, click Next.

12. Select a disk here, choose to create a new virtual disk, make settings, and then click Next.

13, disk size: I chose 30G for my own environment here, and split the virtual disk into multiple files, so you can use as many disks as you want. Don't choose to allocate all disk space immediately, it will directly occupy 30G and cause waste. Set and click Next.

14, here is the default disk file. When the settings are complete, click Next.

15, all settings are complete, and click Finish.

Second, the installation of the operating system

1. At this point, you can see the virtual machine we created in the left frame of VMare workstation. Double-click it to view the details, and then click Edit Virtual Machine Settings.

Find IPv4 settings. Select Manual from the drop-down list, set IP address, subnet mask, gateway settings and DNS server, check the need for IPv4 address to complete this selection, and click Save after setting.

14. After saving, use the Ethernet button to select Open to configure the host name. You must click Apply, or the hostname setting will not take effect. Click Finish when the settings are complete.

28. Use the connection software to test whether it is also connected.

Configure the remote connection service to start automatically when it is turned on.

[root @ Kylin ~]# VI/etc/sys config/network-scripts/if CFG-ens 33

[root@Kylin ~]# systemctl restarts the network.

Kirin system is the minimum installation, and there is no network.service by default. After modifying the network card configuration, you need to restart the server again.

So far, the system has been minimally installed.
