Among them, the circle is from left to right, and the foot is mainly step by step, slightly like Tibetan tap dance. It is said that when dancing this kind of dance, the dancers first drink to add fun, and the dance presents a state of drunkenness.
Because of its strength, it is very intense. Dancers always sweat. 1958, the professionals who danced "protecting the law" or "giving the child" in Yugur area basically retained the ancient dance form of Yugur. Dunhuang frescoes and the Thousand Buddha Cave in Baicheng, Xinjiang, also preserve a complete ancient dance form of Yugur nationality.
4. Dance at once: Yugur folk weddings are often interspersed with plot ceremonies, which used to be the material of the dance work "On the Road to Wedding". According to its national custom, when a girl gets married, Ana (mother) must dress up for her, mainly wearing a headdress, which means that her daughter is about to leave her mother. Later, my uncle led the farewell party to the top of the mountain. Guidance is a procedure in the traditional wedding of this nation, that is, the bride and the farewell guests ride horses or camels and greet the groom halfway while singing. At that time, the man set up a carpet on the way, put a whole sheep and a wedding banquet on it to show his marriage, and the two sides sent Hada a toast to each other. After a short rest, I will go directly to that man's home.
After that, under the auspices of the host, a ceremony was held to crown the groom, also known as "to reach Quger". That is, the bride stands on the red carpet or cloth and scatters a glyph with rice at her feet. The wife who presided over the wedding held a white cloth square towel or Hada, while the other held a plate with a dragon bowl filled with fresh milk and ghee and Yaoda (a kind of mascot) wrapped in black and white wool to accompany her. Whenever the wife who presided over the wedding said something, the person holding the plate would repeat it. There are two other people holding the groom's dress, ready to change the groom's crown. At the end of the ceremony, the host inserted Yao Da into the groom's waist as a certificate for young men and women to get married. At this time, everyone shouted "Yaoda" and "Yaoda". The young man also grabbed Yaoda to tease the bride, so a couple entered the bridal chamber with the help of their families and the noise of the guests.
In the long history, due to the influence of geography, culture, religion, life and other factors, coupled with the process of continuous communication with various ethnic groups and national integration, with the progress of society, Yugur dance has gradually evolved from simple imitation and unconscious self-entertainment to an art with artistic value now.
