Song Huizong's thin body: Does "thin" mean thin characters?
Some people say that he is frivolous by nature, others say that he is incompetent and frustrated, and some even say that he is an unparalleled artistic genius among the ancient emperors in China. He is the Northern Song Emperor Song Huizong Evonne (1082- 1 135).

Evonne loved pen and ink and painters since childhood, and had a keen interest in exotic flowers and stones, birds and animals, especially calligraphy and painting.

"Thin gold style" is his own regular script style. His regular script draws lessons from Xue Ji and Huang Tingjian, and also incorporates the strokes of meticulous painting, which combines ancient and modern, unconventional, and forms a unique calligraphy style with thin point painting, clear beginning and end, exaggerated turning and strict laws. Its side is like orchid bamboo, it looks like dagger, it looks like knife, and its vertical hook is slender, so that the brush can be crossed by hook and vertical by point.

It is thin and straight, lean and powerful, and its strokes are slender and not bony. If your hands are weak and you can't control the strength of your pen when you write, you can't write such a smooth and powerful font. Handed down from ancient times, the literati had money,,,, and so on. It shows the sharpness, straightness, elegance and nobility of the thin gold body in different forms.

As an imperial book, the thin gold body had a wide influence at that time. The inscriptions on coins such as "Daguan Bao Tong" and "Xuanhe Bao Tong" circulating in the market are all in thin gold; Evonne likes to use this font to write poems on paintings. Later, many meticulous painters learned to paint with thin gold, thus forming and spreading the pattern that calligraphy and painting complement each other.

Summary: Bo Jin's calligraphy is different from other calligraphy styles in the process of writing, but both the pen and the pen are sharp, and the sharpness is the easiest place to crack, which can't help but remind people of Hui Zong's tragic ending. During the Jingkang Rebellion, when Qin Zong was captured by Jin Bing, whenever there was good or bad news, Jin Du wrote him a thank-you table for food, then compiled a book and sold it in the market for profit. These calligraphy collections remained hidden among the people for decades after his death.

Song Huizong's life is very dramatic, as he said in his poem: "Dancing butterflies and chasing the evening breeze". He lost his empire. He was not a successful emperor, but he won an artistic reputation before and after his death. He is an artist who captures happy moments with his straightforward paintings and calligraphy.
