What do HRB335 and HRB400 in building steel bars mean?
HRB400 and HRB335 steel bars refer to the HRB400 and HRB335 steel bars in the current national standard "Hot rolled ribbed steel bars for reinforced concrete" GB 1499;

HRB400 is commonly known as Grade III steel, and HRB335 is commonly known as Grade II steel.

The designed tensile strength of HRB335 is 3 10n/mm2.

The design value of tensile strength of HRB335 is 360n/mm2.

This is not a question of good or bad.

Generally, beams and columns are made of secondary steel, and plates are made of tertiary steel.

Grade III steel has a smaller diameter, such as 8, 10. But secondary steel didn't.
