Kangping sweet potato is a specialty of Kangping County, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province. I. Diversity

Second, the site conditions

The soil type of sloping land is aeolian sandy soil, and the soil quality is medium loam, with pH value of 6.82 ~ 7.9 and organic matter content ≥ 1.2%.

Third, cultivation techniques.

1. Seedling raising:

(1) Seedling raising time: from early April to mid-April.

(2) Seedling raising: build a rectangle with adobe or bricks on the heated kang, which is higher than the soil layer, spread straw at the bottom to keep warm, sprinkle a layer of decomposed donkey and horse manure on the straw, then spread sand, and then ripen the soil.

(3) Selected seed potatoes: the seed potatoes are sweet potatoes stored in winter, with a weight of more than 150g, smooth skin and bright color.

(4) Seed soaking and disinfection: soak the seeds in warm water at 50℃~ 52℃ 10 ~ 12 minutes.

(5) Kang soil cultivation: planting 6 kg to 7 kg of potatoes every year, and covering 3 cm to 4 cm with soil.

(6) Management of seedling stage: The soil temperature of seedbed should be controlled at 30 ~ 35℃ from sowing to emergence. The temperature should be controlled at 27℃~ 30℃ after emergence, and crouched at 20℃~ 25℃ five days before seedling pulling. After pulling out the seedlings, raise the temperature to 30℃~ 35℃, accelerate the seedlings for 3 days, and then squat the seedlings at 20℃~ 25℃ for 3 ~ 4 days. When raising seedlings, the soil moisture is kept at 70% ~ 80%, and the first seedling is watered 5 ~ 6 days before emergence.

2. Transplanting: Transplanting in mid-May. The transplanting density is 4000-5000 plants per 667 mu.

3. On-site management:

(1) Pre-growth stage (from planting seedlings to closing the ridge): 3-5 days after planting seedlings, check the fields to replenish seedlings. Within 60-70 days after planting, intertillage and weeding should be carried out more than twice. In the last and second intertillage, ridge trimming and ridge cultivation should be combined. When the main stem is about 50 cm long and the branches are 50 cm to 60 cm long, the terminal buds are removed respectively.

(2) Mid-growth period (from closing the ridge to returning seedlings): 70 ~ 120 days after planting, vine lifting treatment is carried out twice, and the interval between two vine lifting is 15 ~ 20 days.

(3) Late growth period (stem and leaf decline to harvest period): Pay attention to timely drainage.

4. Harvest: The sweet potato leaves turn yellow in the middle and late September, and harvest in time.

5. Environmental and safety requirements: The use of pesticides and fertilizers must comply with the relevant provisions of the state and must not pollute the environment.

Fourth, quality characteristics.

1. Sensory characteristics: bright color, spinning texture and smooth skin. Taste sweet and soft sandy, waxy.

2. Physical and chemical indexes: crude polysaccharide content ≥ 3.3%, protein ≥ 2.5%, nicotinic acid content ≥0.5mg/ 100g, potassium content ≥ 16mg/ 100g.
