Qingdao is located in the east of China, southeast of Shandong Peninsula, bordering the Yellow Sea in the east, and between east longitude119 30'-12100' and 35 35'-37 09'. It is the economic center of Shandong Province, an important pioneer area for the development of modern marine industry in the country, an international shipping hub in Northeast Asia, a maritime sports base, a major node city of the Belt and Road New Eurasian Continental Bridge Economic Corridor and a strategic fulcrum for maritime cooperation. Qingdao is an international center for marine scientific research and education, with 26 universities including Shandong University (Qingdao), Beihang Qingdao Campus and China Ocean University, and 29 universities including Tsinghua University and Peking University. There are many exotic buildings in Qingdao, which is called "World Architecture Expo". Badaguan complex was awarded the title of "the most beautiful city in China".
