Young Dieter is short but ambitious. He has seen rich people who spend money like water indulge in revelry in restaurants; I have also seen poor people throw themselves in the mud at the door, desperately looking for copper coins that people accidentally rolled down. He has served countless powerful businessmen, famous teachers and generals. Although he is only a young hotel waiter, he is determined to become a millionaire.

He knows he can do it: look around, listen to all directions, and then master what he sees and hears. Embracing this dream, which has been recognized and suppressed for a long time, he left his first job and went to a flashy and luxurious "paradise building" and experienced a life of drunkenness. Later, he moved to the most magnificent and luxurious Paris Hotel in Prague, and got closer to his dream step by step.

Life is like a kaleidoscope, and the situation in the Czech Republic before and after World War II is even more complicated. But he served emperors, presidents and generals, but he could accurately predict the situation of the world war from the facial expressions of passers-by. A glance in the mirror of the station gave me a clear view of my future.

Gillman Zuo, a Czech master who won the Academy Award and the Golden Bear Award at the Berlin Film Festival, won the Golden Lion Award, Best Film, Best Director, Best Supporting Actor and Best Photography in Prague in early March, setting a brilliant record for the perfect cooperation between gillman Zuo and the late Czech writer Hrabal.

Yllmann Zuo won the 1968 Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film for his adaptation of Hrabal's The Train of Attention. Another adaptation, Lost Wings, won the Golden Bear Award for Best Film at 1990 Berlin Film Festival. This film is based on the crazy, absurd and legendary life of a hotel waiter, reflecting the ever-changing situation in the Czech Republic for half a century. This is gillman Zuo's sixth adaptation of Hrabal's novel, which is also his favorite work. It is worth mentioning that in order to be loyal to the original work, the film presents a magnificent drunken dream Prague, and every scene is extremely luxurious: whether the protagonist is a waiter, it is an eye-opening nude music event in Chi Pan; Or when he became a millionaire, his crazy behavior of pasting banknotes as wallpaper … was truly presented in the film, which was very sensual and provocative. As soon as the film was finished, it was selected as a competition film at this year's Berlin Film Festival, and later won the Fabriz Award of International Film Critics.

"I Serve the King of England" is Hrabal's most famous novel, and it is also his masterpiece with an epiphany. It was completed in one go in 18 days. So far, the word has not changed, which makes the world relish. It has always been gillman's wish to adapt the director I Serve the King of England. In order to realize this dream, gillman insisted on getting back the right to film from Czech national television, even though he spent more than ten years in litigation. This masterpiece finally died in Hrabal in 10, and was filmed when gillman Zuo Ye was nearly 70 years old. It caused a sensation when it was released in the Czech Republic. Cicada earned eight weeks at the box office, twice as much as The Da Vinci Code. Cicada took eight weeks at the box office, twice as much as The Da Vinci Code.

The grand occasion is unprecedented! Cicada won the Czech box office championship for eight weeks in a row.
