1, Precautions for Patch Installation
After the system is installed, patch it first, and the choice of patch is also related to the size of the system. I have seen many tutorials, but there is little introduction about installing patches. I will talk about the precautions for installing system patches in detail.
When I was packaging myself, I felt that the windows update and Microsoft system that came with the system were still available. By default, all important updates will be installed, so there is a problem, IE 1 1 and the choice. NET framework 4.5.
To express my personal opinion, IE 1 1 was released by Microsoft on 20 13 1 1. My own system is IE 1 1. Although it is the latest browser, when I use it, there are some plug-ins and some software from individual websites (I forgot for too long). Therefore, it is recommended to choose IE 10 or IE9 compared with mature ones.
Install this update in. NET Framework 4.5 will increase the system volume by several hundred MB, which is also a great burden to the system.
The choice. NET Framework 4.5 lies in its own requirements for the system. Some new machine hardware needs to be installed with this update, otherwise an error will be prompted after installing the graphics card driver, and the old machine will be fine. So choose to install or not according to your own situation. If it is volume control, you can not install this update first if you have high volume requirements!
2. Transfer virtual memory
(1) Computer → Right-click Properties → Advanced System Settings → Performance → Settings → Advanced → Virtual Memory → Change → Delete the paging file size that automatically manages all drives → Click on drive C: Do not select paging file → Settings → Select drive D: Select a custom file size, with an initial size of 2048 (custom) and a maximum of 2048 (custom) →
(2) Or run advanced system properties, advanced system settings → performance → settings → advanced → virtual memory → changed system properties.
3. Turn off the system protection
Computer → Right-click Properties → Advanced System Settings → System Protection → Configuration → Turn off System Protection → Maximum use of 0 bytes → Delete all restore points.
4. Close the hibernation file.
Start → All programs → Accessories → Right-click command prompt → Run as administrator.
5. compress the winxsx folder
Before doing this step, you need to get the highest authority of the file first, so I won't explain it much. Open C:/windows and locate the winxsx folder.
One way is the woodpecker teacher's Win7-driven video tutorial (no URL). This tutorial can reduce the space by about 900MB before winsxs compression, but the reduction effect is not obvious after compression. If there are restrictions on the volume, you can use this tutorial to reduce a part of the volume.

If the pure version of the system has no software (plus runtime and driver package), the GHO file should be about 2.5G, and the size of the GHO file should be below 3G if the basic software is installed.
