1. Put my file on another disk.
Right-click My Documents on the desktop and select Properties. On the Destination Folder tab, click the Move button in the Destination Folder Location box, and then select a new save address in the dialog box.
2. Install various applications to other disks.
It is still necessary to keep the program files folder of disk C. When installing the system, many programs are installed on this disk by default. When you install the program yourself in the future, you can choose the installation location to another partition.
3. Set the page file (virtual memory) to another disk.
Right-click the desktop "My Computer", select Properties, and click: Advanced-Performance Settings-Advanced-Virtual Memory Change. Here, set the paging file of drive C as "no paging file", and select another partition to set the paging file. The specific size can be decided by yourself.
4. Set IE's temporary folder to another partition.
Open IE browser, click Tools, click Settings in the Internet Temporary Files box, click Move Folder in the pop-up dialog box, and then select Save temporary files to other partitions.
5. Move favorites to another disk.
First, create a new favorite in the target location, then run REGEDIT and enter the HKEY _ Current _ User \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ Current Version \ Explorer \ User Shell folder.
Locate the favorite item and change the value to the newly created favorite path.
6. Move user variables
First, build a TEMP folder in the target location, then open System Properties-Advanced-Environment Variable, edit the values of Temp and TMP in the user variable box of "User Name" as the newly created Temp folder, and restart after confirmation.
