Hunan University of Chinese Medicine is located in Changsha, a famous historical and cultural city in China. It is a key undergraduate college in Hunan Province, the first batch of universities that set up national key disciplines, and the first batch of Chinese medicine colleges that recruit doctoral students, international students and students from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.
The school adheres to the concept of running a school with characteristics, and the characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine are comprehensively improved. The school has established a national, provincial and university-level key discipline system, with national key disciplines 1, 23 key disciplines in state administration of traditional chinese medicine, 2 key disciplines with advantages and characteristics in Hunan Province, 8 key disciplines in Hunan Province and 20 key disciplines at the university level.
In the fourth round of discipline evaluation in the State Council in 20 17, our school listed Chinese medicine, integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine, pharmacy and traditional Chinese medicine. Diagnostics of traditional Chinese medicine continues to maintain a leading position in Chinese medicine colleges and universities throughout the country. Key disciplines such as internal medicine of traditional Chinese medicine, five senses of traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture and massage, foundation of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine, clinical practice of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine, pharmacy and so on have distinct characteristics, and their domestic status has been steadily improved.
