Ice-seeded red stone just looks as bright, shiny and positive as ice. In the jade industry, as the saying goes, the water head is good.

The first condition of ice seed red stone is transparency, and the formation process and environment of natural spar are quite complicated. If impurities or the environment is not ideal, the final crystallization effect is often not very good, which is generally manifested in color and crystal.

Take Hongshi as an example. The red stone in the picture below is a common color. Red will be a little white, because it contains calcium, and the crystal is not very transparent, which will appear lack of spirituality.

Ice seed red stone is a variety with good color, less impurities, fine texture and transparent crystal when it is formed.

The hardness of aragonite is 3.5~4.5. Sexually fragile. The relative density is 3.6~3.7. So the maintenance of Redstone is more important. Different from other natural spar, it is brittle and can't have too intense collision, so it is easy to crack or even break. Generally, K-gold inlay is used to protect the red stone, or when making round beads, a buffer gasket is placed between each bead.
