design

Because of the semi-automatic operation, compared with the pump-driven shotgun, it only needs fewer parts, so the operation principle becomes simple and the whole gun can be lighter.

The main features are the lock block system of the shotgun and the ammunition supply system of the tubular magazine (which can be cut off).

operate

Basically, a series of semi-automatic shotguns in benelli all use the same basic operating rules, that is, the principle of inertia. Recoil force generated by kinetic energy when shooting with fixed barrel and shotgun.

The system does not need a lot of high-pressure gunpowder gas or recoil force of the barrel to operate, but this mode of operation must use springs to operate freely between the bolt head and the bolt.

When shooting, due to the recoil of the shotgun, the inertia at the bottom of the shotgun automatically moves 4 mm backward, compressing the spring. When the spring is completely compressed, the shell outlet will be completely opened, pushing the shell to the rear and automatically discharging it under the residual pressure, and then the next bullet will be automatically taken out of the tubular magazine and immediately loaded into the bore.

The calculation method of spring pressure is to delay the unlocking time of the bolt, but after that, the spring may automatically leave the barrel because of shooting, and it must be adjusted according to the recoil generated by different magazine lengths.

Derivative type
