Shika Snow Mountain Scenic Area is located in the southwest of Jiantang Town, Shangri-La County, 7.34 kilometers away from the county seat. It is not only the closest comprehensive tourist attraction to Shangri-La Airport in Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, but also the only three-dimensional ecological and cultural tourist attraction with cable car sightseeing conditions in Diqing Plateau at present.

Shika Snow Mountain Scenic Area is located 7 kilometers southwest of Shangri-La County. It is adjacent to Napahai Nature Reserve in the north, Qianhu Mountain Scenic Area, a world natural heritage with three parallel rivers in the south, Songzanlin Temple and Dukezong Ancient City in the east, mysterious canyons and Pentium Jinsha River in the west, covering an area of about 65 square kilometers. The main peak of Shika Mountain, the highest point in the scenic spot, is 4,449.5 meters above sea level, and Napa Meadow, the lowest point, is 3,270 meters above sea level, with a relative elevation difference of 1 179 meters.
