The modern dance Jue by Beijing Modern Dance Company.
Beijing Modern Dance Company's dance drama Jue was commissioned by Berlin Art Festival. Gao Yan Jin, artistic director of Beijing Modern Dance Company, co-directed and performed with her mother, famous choreographer and dancer Luo Lili, and Liu Suola, a famous musician, created music. Jue is based on "emotion" and consists of five independent but closely related dance segments. It is not only a mother-daughter dialogue full of emotion and consciousness, but also a profound reflection on tradition and modernity. "Jue" reveals and shows the complex relationship of inheritance, continuation, development and interaction between traditional culture and contemporary culture with clear dance vocabulary through the dance movements of two generations of women. This is like the end of this dance drama-the daughter helped her mother break away from the shackles of tradition, and her mother was able to go into battle lightly, while her daughter found her real direction in the reflection of tradition and modernity. This is as the creator himself said: "You see the dust in the air, and every bit of dust can represent yourself. When you are free, you find yourself back in your mother's arms. You will be a tradition for your children in the future. This story means that tradition is the mother of modern times. "
