Deleting an application will remove the application from the Mac hard disk and free up the space it occupies for other projects. You can delete an application from Launchpad or Access.
Use the Quick Launch Board to delete an application.
Launch pad makes it easy to delete apps downloaded from the App Store. ?
To open Launchpad, click it in the program Dock, or open it from the Applications folder. You can also put your thumb and three other fingers together on the trackpad.
If you don't see the corresponding application in Launchpad, please type its name in the search field at the top of the screen. Alternatively, use two fingers to slide left or right on the touchpad to display the next page or the previous page.
Hold down Option (? ) key, or click and hold any application until it starts to shake.
Click next to the app you want to delete? , and then click Delete to confirm. This application will be deleted immediately. ? No display? The app is either not from the app store or a must-have app for Mac. To delete an application that is not in the App Store, use Access.

Deleting an application does not cancel any subscriptions to the corresponding application that you may have purchased. ? Learn how to unsubscribe from apps downloaded from the App Store.
Use Access to delete an application.
Find the corresponding App in "Visit". Most applications are located in the Applications folder, and you can open them by clicking Applications in the sidebar of any Access window. Alternatively, you can use Focus to find the corresponding App, and then hold down Command (? Double-click this application while holding down the key.
Drag this application to the trash, or select this application and choose file >; Move to the wastebasket.
If you are asked to enter a user name and password, enter the name and password of an administrator account on the Mac. This may be the name and password you used to log in to your Mac.
To remove this application, select access > empty trash.
