What school is Xunzi?
Xunzi belongs to Confucianism. Xunzi was born in the Warring States Period, and Xunzi's family was inherited from Xunxi. Historical Records records Xunzi's life and experience. He traveled around the world, spreading and developing Confucian culture, first to Qi and then to Chu. Han Fei and Li Si were all disciples of Xunzi, so some people questioned whether Xunzi belonged to Confucianism or Taoism.

What school is Xunzi?

Xunzi was a famous thinker in the Warring States Period. He once held the position of offering wine in Qi State. Later, when he entered Chu, he met Chun Shen Jun, and then he was appointed as Lan Lingling. Only later, Chun was punished and Xunzi's office was removed.

Xunzi advocated the theory of evil nature, indicating that there must be evil in human nature, which is contrary to Mencius' theory of good nature. Xunzi also sorted out Confucian books and preserved and disseminated Confucian culture, so he was a Confucian figure.

What school is Xunzi?

Xunzi has two disciples, Han Fei and Li Si, both of whom are representatives of Taoism. Later generations questioned Xunzi's identity. Is he a Taoist? But this need varies from person to person. Xunzi believes in and worships Confucianism, which has nothing to do with Taoism.
