Green brick tea is mainly produced in southern and southwestern Hubei. Later, it developed to Hankou, Xiangyang and other places with a production history of more than 600 years. It is made by squeezing fresh leaves of alpine tea trees at an altitude of 600- 1200m. Brown color, rich and delicious tea juice, unique aroma, sweet and meaningful. Blue bricks are rectangular in shape, blue-brown in color, pure in aroma, mellow in taste, orange-red in soup and dark brown in leaf bottom. Drinking green brick tea not only quenches thirst, but also has the effects of refreshing, helping digestion, sterilizing and stopping diarrhea.

The history of Hubei blue brick tea can be traced back to AD 1368. At that time, Ho, a tea-making family in Hubei, first made hat box tea, which was the embryonic form of Hubei blue brick tea. Later, 179 1 established Changshengchuan Brick Tea Factory, which specializes in producing green brick tea. Since then, Hubei blue brick tea has started its glorious history of more than 200 years and played an important role in the Sino-Russian Wanli Tea Ceremony. Since War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, Hankou has been unable to make tea. 1939, a man surnamed Liu fled to Anhua, Hunan, and began to teach local people to make brick tea. Because there was no mechanical pressing, the pressed brick tea was soft, which formed the later Fuzhen tea. Fuzhuan tea came out in the early Ming Dynasty. In the old days, raw materials from Anhua and southern Shaanxi were transported to Jingyang, Shaanxi (now under the jurisdiction of Xianyang City) to suppress bricks and tiles. Until 1953, China Tea Company Anhua Brick Tea Factory succeeded in trial-producing Fuzhuan tea, and the production of Fuzhuan tea was transferred from Shaanxi to Hunan.

Green brick tea is made from fresh leaves of alpine tea trees in southern and southwestern Hubei, which are fermented for a long time and then autoclaved at high temperature. The soup is red and clear, fragrant, pure, sweet and meaningful. Drinking green brick tea not only produces fluid to quench thirst, but also has unique effects such as relieving boredom, invigorating stomach, reducing fat and slimming, keeping out the cold and refreshing, sterilizing and stopping diarrhea, which are beyond the reach of other teas. 1. Geographical environment: the south and southwest of Hubei are located on the south bank of the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River, with east longitude113 32'-1413' and north latitude 29 28'-29 59'.

2. Climate characteristics: it is located in the subtropical zone and belongs to the maritime monsoon climate. Due to the interaction of geographical location, atmospheric circulation and topography, it has the climatic characteristics of abundant rainfall, abundant sunshine, mild climate, distinct four seasons, short cold period and long frost-free period. The annual average sunshine percentage is 4 1%, the actual sunshine hours are 2300 hours, and the annual average solar radiation reaches 498 kJ /cm. The annual average temperature is 16.9℃, the frost-free period is 238 days, and the annual rainfall is 1500- 1800 mm.

3. Soil characteristics: mostly zonal yellow-brown soil, mainly slightly acidic soil, suitable for the growth of various crops. The soil in tea planting area is pollution-free and the pH value is suitable. The soil contains a variety of trace elements such as aluminum, silicon, potassium, calcium, iron, zinc, boron, magnesium, molybdenum and sulfur, with moderate water content and good air permeability. Most tea gardens are located on plains covered with red and yellow acidic soil.
