How to cultivate azaleas?
1, proper lighting

Rhododendrons can only bloom in places with plenty of light. Usually in spring, autumn and winter, it is necessary to give enough light to promote the continuous differentiation of rhododendron branches, and also to help branches obtain nutrients in the soil. In summer, you should do more activities indoors and other cool places, and take sun protection measures.

2. Water and fertilizer management

Rhododendrons like to grow in wet soil. In the cultivation method of rhododendron, water should be sprayed on the soil every 1 ~ 2 days, and the amount of water should be increased in summer. When rhododendron blooms and grows, phosphorus liquid fertilizer should be applied every 10 ~ 15 days to make it bloom beautifully.

3, appropriate pruning

Although the growth rate of Rhododendron is relatively slow, after the flowering period of Rhododendron, the residual flowers of Rhododendron can be cut off, and the withered, heavy and diseased branches can be cut off, which can make it grow sturdily, promote the germination of lateral buds, make it more ornamental and bloom beautiful flowers next time.

4, pest control

Rhododendron is vulnerable to diseases and insect pests such as gray mold and red spider during its growth. At this time, it is necessary to improve its growth environment, cut off its diseased branches and leaves, and spray its plants with chemicals such as King Flower EC and Clonitramine to prevent and control it, so that Rhododendron can gradually recover its vitality.

5. Cutting

After pruning azaleas properly every time, soak the cut branches in rooting water for 5 ~ 15 minutes, then put them in a cool and ventilated place, then insert them into the prepared loose substrate, water them every day after waiting for three days, and wait for the branches to take root in the soil.
