High temperature yoga is suitable for several times a week. See your personal situation once a week, usually 2-3 times a week. The frequency of high-temperature yoga practice is actually what your body tells you, that is, the number of exercises depends entirely on your physical condition. But generally speaking, for those who have practiced high-temperature yoga for many years, the best practice is basically two or three times a week, and there is no need to do too much.
For those who have never practiced high-temperature yoga (or never practiced yoga), it is suggested to take it slowly, starting from 1-2 times a week, adapting to the temperature and posture first, and then taking it slowly. After that, when you get used to the temperature, posture and teachers, you can gradually increase the frequency of practice, for example, to three classes a week.
However, it should be noted that it is better to have a little interval between these three classes, instead of spending three days a week and then taking three days off. Also, remember that if you start a certain frequency, please try to stick to it.
Can high-temperature yoga be practiced every day? High temperature yoga can't be practiced every day.
High-temperature yoga is generally carried out in a high-temperature environment of 35-42℃, but this environment is mostly artificial, the air cannot circulate, the air humidity is small, the negative oxygen ions are few, and the free radical content is high, which will lead to side effects. If you are in this environment every day, it will increase the load of human heart and lung, and after a long time, it will also reduce the function of human heart and lung. Therefore, I suggest that it is best not to practice high-temperature yoga more than two or three times a week, and try to separate the time and not practice continuously. In addition, people with epilepsy, heart disease, hypertension, bad cold, fever, kidney disease and diabetes are not suitable for practicing high-temperature yoga.
Disadvantages of high temperature yoga 1. Because of the high temperature environment, the throat mucosa is in a state of water shortage for a long time. According to the theory of traditional Chinese medicine, the lung is a delicate organ that needs long-term moisturizing care, but high temperature will dry the lung, so it is harmful to people's respiratory system.
2. From the perspective of yoga health, high-temperature yoga consumes too much life energy, and the high-temperature environment makes people's metabolism very strong, which is a kind of consumption in itself. When doing some pneumatic yoga movements, it will accelerate the decay of human organs and induce diseases.
3. Exercising in a high temperature environment will increase the burden on the heart and bring serious consequences to patients with chronic diseases such as hypertension, hypotension and diabetes.
4. Oversecretion of adrenaline and cortisol, two stress hormones, masks the state of dehydration and fatigue in the body. Therefore, practicing yoga at high temperature has a certain health-preserving effect, but when the body temperature rises to 38℃ to 40℃, it will lead to heatstroke and even life-threatening.
5. When practicing high-temperature yoga, if the indoor temperature is too high, it will easily lead to related diseases, or the body will be injured due to excessive stretching. At high temperature, muscles will not become softer and more flexible, thus reducing the chance of injury. On the contrary, if you take the risk of doing yoga exercises that stretch your muscles beyond the limit, your body will be easily injured and even your joints will be injured. Moreover, high temperature will increase the secretion of enkephalin and two stress hormones-adrenaline and cortisol, which will lead to the decrease of human sensitivity to pain.
