Gansu provincial sports school is a secondary sports professional school and technical secondary school.

Gansu Provincial Sports School, founded in 1966, is the only provincial general secondary sports school with a three-year academic system, which belongs to Gansu Provincial Sports Bureau. The school has 9 departments including office, training department, academic affairs department, humanities department, finance department, student department, general affairs department, security department and catering department. The official establishment is 92 people, with 7/kloc-0 professional technicians, including 30 professional technicians with senior titles and 25 professional technicians with intermediate titles. There are track and field, football, basketball, judo, wrestling, martial arts, boxing, hockey, taekwondo, Chinese wrestling, volleyball, tennis, shooting, water sports and so on 14, with more than 0/000 students in school. At present, the school has added Gansu Provincial Sports Middle School and Northwest Branch of China Football College.
