The most comprehensive yoga courses are as follows:

There are many forms of yoga, which can be roughly divided into seven categories: sitting posture, forward flexion, backward flexion, lateral flexion, torsion, balance, handstand and so on. Different types of yoga poses have different effects on the body.

First, sitting posture.

Sitting posture is the posture used in meditation, including simple sitting, lotus sitting (half sitting or full sitting), king kong sit, lightning sitting, perfect sitting and so on.

Second, forward flexion.

The spine is the main beam of the human body, and many poses of yoga are aimed at the spine. The spine has six moving directions: forward bending, backward bending, left-right bending and horizontal left-right twisting. Forward flexion posture refers to the posture in which the spine bends forward and leans against the legs.

Classification:

There are many different types of buckling, and the most common ones can be divided into two categories:

Forward flexion of standing posture: such as three-dimensional forward flexion of standing posture and three-dimensional forward flexion of semi-standing posture;

Sitting posture flexion: such as turtle posture, one leg back extension, two legs back extension, half lotus sitting flexion, half hero sitting flexion, etc.

There are also some postures that are not completely attributed to flexion, such as baby posture, dog posture, boat posture, magic chair posture, plow posture, knee-to-chest posture and so on.

Third, the post-bending class.

Postflexion posture refers to the state that the spine bends backward, and the postflexion should be coordinated with the anteversion, that is, a postflexion can be easily connected with a anteversion, so that the spine can be stretched, the intervertebral disc can be reset, and the spine can be fully rested. This is very important, don't force yourself to do it, lest you get hurt.

Classification:

Yoga has many back bends and can be divided into two categories:

The backward bending (backward pulling) in line with gravity is mainly camel type and wheeled type evolved from mountain type. Usually these poses start from kneeling or standing. The body needs to fall under the action of gravity to complete the back bend.

Cobra pose, grasshopper and bow are the main backward bends (backward contraction) to overcome gravity. Usually, these poses start from the prone position, with the abdomen facing the mat.

Fourth, lateral bending.

Scoliosis is a state in which the spine bends to the left and right. Such as pin type, triangle extension type, side angle extension type, etc.

Fifth, the torsion class.

Twist pose refers to the posture in which the spine twists horizontally from left to right.

Sixth, the balance category.

A balanced pose refers to a pose that requires some limbs to support the body and maintain balance.

Seven, shift.

Handstand posture is a posture in which the body is inverted, including: shoulder handstand, plow, head handstand, etc.
