After giving birth to a child, in addition to being busy with children's affairs, in fact, mothers are very concerned ... am I fat or edema?
OT Lily cooperated with Peng's therapist in a movie this time, and taught everyone that a few simple movements can effectively eliminate edema of lower limbs. Read the article first and then follow the film!
After giving birth, many things are hard to go back, such as free time, enough sleep … and edema of both legs!
"Obviously, many people say that the edema will disappear naturally after birth, and my leg is still the same after three months of lifting! 」
"Red bean water, black bean water, etc. I drink too much, it's no use! 」
"It's no use pressing your hands. I'm beginning to suspect that I'm actually not edema but fat (crying)."
It is not difficult to remove edema, but some people have different physical conditions and need more powerful swelling reduction. If you start to feel that leg lifting, * * * and drinking red bean water are useless, please upgrade to muscle strength training, drainage and wearing pressure socks!
First, use active muscle strength training instead of passive leg lifting!
It is said that the leg lift against the wall uses gravity to reduce swelling, but it is really super slow because the leg muscles don't contract at all!
In fact, simple lower limb muscle strength training can squeeze blood vessels and lymphatic vessels through muscle contraction, resulting in greater reflux force!
For example, when holding a child, you can do the following actions:
1. Sit against the wall
Back against the wall, feet one thigh away from the wall, feet forward, sit down slowly until you feel your legs contribute, stop for a few seconds when your knees are 90 degrees, and then get up. Holding the child not only strengthens the weight itself, but also increases the difficulty of getting up. Moms must be impressed.
2. Sit with your legs stretched when sitting.
Can I take the opportunity to exercise while breastfeeding? Find a comfortable plane and sit at the height where your feet can step on the ground. Repeatedly stretch/bend your legs, and don't touch the ground during the process. Senior mothers can increase their weight, put water bottles or dumbbells in their legs, and do proper weight bearing.
When beginners or hands are inconvenient, they can rest on their backs. ※: When you are empty-handed, you can sit in the front, lie back a little and lift your legs, so that you can exert yourself completely.

3. Heel lift
You can tiptoe to exercise calf muscles at any time! Stand on tiptoe at the same time, keep your heels as far away from the ground as possible, and then put them down. It is an advanced practice to slow down as much as possible during the process, or stand on tiptoe for a few seconds.
If you are worried that standing and holding the baby will make you unstable, you can turn into lying in bed, and it is best to add this ankle movement when lifting your feet to strengthen the pumping effect of muscle contraction!
Other common movements at home, such as lunge, standing hip extension, plop, squat, etc., can make your legs work, you can try it! After all, active muscle contraction is much more positive than passive acceptance of gravity!
Second, use lightweight skin drainage instead of gravity!
So I believe that the only thing that has not been mentioned since ancient times is that the * * * to eliminate edema should be "very light, very light, very light"! (Hey hey, this is not the focus of confinement! )
* * * Eliminating edema is actually not heavy at all! Because the shallowest blood vessels and lymphatic vessels are only located in the deep dermis, too heavy * * * makes the pipeline squeezed, just like the water pipe is pinched, and the liquid cannot penetrate.
Even if gravity compresses, it will "temporarily" force water to flow back from leg tissues to blood vessels, so once the force disappears, the effect of detumescence will be gone, which is why many people think that * * * is invalid.
So, if you want to * * *, as long as you do it, it will make your skin wrinkle. So, if you want to * * *, as long as you do it, it will make your skin wrinkle. At the beginning, I didn't finish training, and I felt really strange to serve my friends with edema! )
The direction of drainage is also very important! We have to transport water to the heart, so we have to go from toes to thighs to follow the path of lymphatic vessels.
Lymphatic drainage is a technical term, which is a professional freehand technique developed by the medical community for edema. In clinical literature and medical practice, it also fully supports the role of lymphatic drainage in reducing swelling of varicose veins and lymphedema after tumor surgery, and it is carried out by trained medical personnel. Please be careful not to echo the lymph * * * or lymph detoxification course in the workshop. ※!

Third, the most powerful auxiliary tool is pressure socks!
Drinking red bean water, black bean water, etc. is too slow to urinate after the body absorbs it! Since the leg is edema, isn't it faster to do all the additional measures directly on the leg? Let's see how to use pressure socks:
1. How to choose: Please look at the mmHg value and choose the first-class pressure socks!
Please don't choose socks from denier, because denier refers to the weight of material, that is, whether socks are soft or heavy. The bigger the denier, the harder and heavier the socks. In fact, it does not represent the "wearing function"!
Please recognize that the pressure socks used in the medical field are based on "mmHg", that is, how much pressure the socks can bring to the limbs after wearing them. For example, first-class pressure socks are most suitable for postpartum mothers.
First pressure: European 18 ~ 15~20mmHg/ American 15 ~ 20 mmhg. ※
2. Which one to wear: * * the best! Otherwise, please at least wear stockings.
Because the whole leg and even the abdomen may be edema, the larger the coverage area of pressure socks, the better, so that there can be real pressure from the sole of the foot to the thigh. People who are worried that they won't be able to wear them for a long time can take them off and have a rest before wearing them, so as to prolong the wearing time of pressure socks as much as possible.
Please don't worry, moms. Medical stress socks graded by mmHg are very elastic and soft, even if they are * * *, they will not be as difficult to wear as the high denier stiff socks claimed in the market, so don't worry about not adapting. ※!
3. Timing: It is not effective to wear pressure socks at night, but it is more important to wear them during the day!
It is recommended to wear stress socks to exercise, walk and even exercise! Because the leg compression can prevent excess water from staying at the distal end due to standing, and at the same time, when the leg is bound by socks, the muscle contraction force can be more completely transmitted to the pipeline, which becomes a stronger pumping effect. So call on mothers who love to sleep in socks to try wearing stress socks during the day!
The above detumescence strategies are basic rules, guiding mothers to try from their daily habits. If you need further advice, guidance and even services, please directly ask the medical staff with comprehensive detumescence/lymphatic drainage related background!
