The disadvantage is that bitmap support is flawed (especially color), and the upper limit of bitmap output seems to be only one direction 10000 pixels.
Illustrator is a software that integrates vector graphics editing and text typesetting functions. The advantage is that the text typesetting effect and vector graphics drawing are excellent, and the compatibility with photoshop is the best (pure nonsense). The disadvantage is the lack of typesetting and editing, and the output bitmap takes a long time.
FreeHand is a software that integrates vector graphics editing and text typesetting functions. It is excellent in hand drawing, typesetting and special effects processing, but its support for bitmap is not very good. Freehand's name is CorelDraw Jr. You'll know what it means after listening to it. It's a slim version of CorelDraw.
PageMaker is a set of text typesetting software. Hehe, typesetting has no rivals. It has all the functions of automatic page setting, template page setting, text paragraph setting, text line breaking and so on. Suitable for general graphic design, photoshop image processing, Illustrator typesetting, word processing, drawing graphics. I have to admit that this combination is a combination of beads and walls. If you plan to work in a foreign advertising company, you must use this combination to study, because many of them only realize this. Unfortunately, only China has the national conditions of China. Many output companies don't support Illustrator's output files, or there will be some mistakes when importing Illustrator's output files, so please don't use AI format as the final output file when using this combination.
photoshop+CorelDraw
Suitable for general graphic design, photoshop image processing, CorelDraw typesetting, word processing and drawing have basically become the absolute mainstream combination of domestic advertising companies, especially small and medium-sized advertising companies. Many large advertising companies have also begun to put down their airs and give up Illustrator to switch to CorelDraw, but notice that CorelDraw8.0 does not support version above 9.0, and 9.0 does not support version above 10.0, so it is better to use 8 when outputting in cdr format.
Photoshop+ freehand
Suitable for general graphic design work. Photoshop processes images, typesetting by hand, word processing and drawing graphics, and the effect is similar to photoshop+CorelDraw.
Although not many people use this combination, some people still learn FreeHand instead of CorelDraw.
CorelDraw+PageMaker
Suitable for text poster design, PageMaker word processing, layout integration, CorelDraw drawing graphics.
