By chance, my friends and I went to experience a Muay Thai training, and then it got out of hand. I practice once every Saturday. Although I am exhausted after every practice, I am also very happy. When a person works overseas, many people around him tend to be slightly depressed. At that time, the work pressure was great and the mood was very low. I just need a high-intensity exercise to relieve stress. Muay Thai is perfect.
Muay Thai training is very intense. The first training is from 6: 00 pm to 8: 00 pm, two hours, with each break 1-2 minutes. At first, the coach will take us to warm up, all kinds of low-intensity stretching, running and jumping. In about 20 minutes, we will officially start boxing. The most basic action is the straight fist. Starting from the chin, strike the fist forward in parallel, shoulder height, eyes looking forward, elbows straight, shoulders and arms balanced. This action is mainly to exercise the muscles of the upper arm and back. The coach will hold the baffle and let us punch hard. There is a special training countdown device, which is summarized every 3 minutes. Do abdominal exercises immediately after giving full play, including sit-ups, push-ups and scissors feet.
The second key action is the hook, which starts from the waist and hooks up from the side, with the fist face up, and at the same time raises the elbow with the waist strength. This action can exercise the arms and waist. I can't get used to the rapid conversion between straight and hook every time. Thailand has a high demand for reaction and needs to practice as fast as lightning.
The third key action is side kick, and the foot kicks the outside of the opponent's thigh from the side. When we hit the coach's baffle, we will make a loud noise, just like badminton hitting the sweet spot, which is very fulfilling. The faster you kick, the harder you push, the correct position, and the crisper and stronger your voice, which is very interesting. The coach is very humorous and often makes some funny little moves, which makes everyone laugh.
Muay Thai also needs regular practice. When punching in is a habit, there is nothing to be afraid of. Tomorrow is Saturday, let's play Muay Thai together!
