Hip-hop originated in the United States, based on different street cultures or musical styles. The earliest street dance is Locking, which originated in the 1960s.
Hip-hop dancers can be divided into two categories: dancer and Bboy. One is personal skill hip-hop. Personal skill street dance is the earliest popular street dance, because it can reflect the energetic side of young people. Many of their ground movements, such as somersaults and handstand jumps, are street dance performances with strong skills and high appreciation. The other is group street dance, which is a popular form of street dance. It reflects the needs of the public, and it is relatively simple to jump and has a strong sense of rhythm. It has both the feeling of dancing and the function of fitness.
