Gif animation supports up to 256 colors, and colors beyond its color gamut will be discarded and modified, which is also the reason why the gif pictures we often make are distorted.

Therefore, the colors of the pictures used to make GIFs should not be too bright and rich.

You have to be completely undistorted, unless your image color is just within the color gamut allowed by gif, it is more or less distorted.

There is no need to find any software or methods to test. No software or method can do anything. No distortion at all!

Optimize

The purpose of optimization is to make files "slim" and easy to transmit and browse in the network.

Optimization is to let the software delete some information of gif to shrink the file, but optimization will make the quality of gif worse.

Generally, the default is the best quality, and no optimization is needed.
